The Last Zionist ,   Eilat   (06.03.10)

3. I can see by the 2 talkbacks that many people are concerned
m   (06.03.10)
for the welfare of old orthodox people. The first one is throwing it up on the orthodox and the second one doesn't look in the mirror, others don't even care enough to read that. Many of these old people who have no food are holocaust survivors and just like in Israel everybody is busy to care for themselves.
4. kosher food.
colin   (06.03.10)
Wont eat non kosher food THEN STARVE Nobody forces you to eat. Kosher food is only another way for the religious rabbis to extort more money It is not because of cleanliness.not because of tradition, not for wanting to help the hungry The rabbis will continue to get thier millions and do not give a care for the weak poor holocast surviver. Let them die Many more idiots to pay for kosher
5. why doesnt the state of israel lend a helping hand to their
jerusalem   (06.04.10)
jewish brethren?
6. #4
jerusalem   (06.04.10)
Jews have strict food guidelines, this is in their holy book. this is not the work of their rabbis. wow...7 bucks a meal, that charity was bound to cut off sooner or later though whats weird is why the israeli govt or at least the jewish lobby raise money for these people. it wouldnt kill israel to devote a lttle less money for defense/arms and help their own around the world;jewish lobbyists dont need the "generosity" of the non jewish, they have their own state that has plenty of money and autonomous--why arent they helping?
7. just because they are holocaust survivors, #3,
jerusalem   (06.04.10)
means they should receive relief? so i guess that also means that you dont care about the growing number of non-jewish related homeless or people on welfare in the US generally??? its a shame how some veterans/survivors are treated.
8. Here's an idea.
James K. ,   Leesville LA, USA   (06.04.10)
Here's an idea, here in Louisiana, where Kosher food is harder to get in many places, many go vegan, with the exception of tuna fish and milk. So you still get your protien and vitamin B-12. People have been going that way for years. So if Kosher costs too much, go with this menu. (Just a thought.)
9. x-koshermealsonwheels employee
paulb ,   new york   (06.05.10)
guns or butter the jewish state has already made its choice... plenty of money to send commandos to kill aid workers may be cut back on the killing a little and tell the americans to spend that 3 billion a year on thing like food for the elderly.
10. No cheap Kosher food in NY? Move to Israel!
blash ,   Washington DC   (06.05.10)
11. Where can I send a donation?
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (06.05.10)
After reading some of these talkbacks, I feel like writing a check to help my fellow Jews in New York. Is there a web site?
