6. Turkey
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (06.02.10)
Turkey is playing very dangerous game, hand in hand with Iran. They are trying to gain support of the muslim world (since they were rejected to enter EU, where, obviously, they do not belong) on the back of Israel. I am afraid that they have chosen the wrong victim and will have to deal with consequences of their action. Israel, stop to apologize and prepare for action.
7. Congratulation Israel
Billy Bob ,   USA   (06.02.10)
Congratulation Israel, the whole world hates Israel -- even more than before

"They smashed our stern door which is glass and they beat some of the girls and pushed them around the deck". "There was one girl, she was only young, a Belgian girl, she had a broken nose" 'I wouldn't call them soldiers, they are terrorists,' said the 36-year-old. See http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0602/mideast.html
10. # perfect comment !

Long live my firend hahahaha it is a very nice comment. Mossad has prepared this video to serve to all world. They are commandos but beaten by peace activist... hah who believes that, they sent 2-3 people with all technological weapons to get beaten. This was a Spielberg scenario. I applause very good played !
11. What he should have said
Danny   (06.02.10)
he should have said that the issue is black and white there is video evidence of exactly what happened don't take my word don't take their word look at the video of how they acted from the very moment ask yourself if that constitutes "non-violent" resistance. ask yourself if that is the act of a "peace activist" ask yourself if you were one of those soldiers what would you do ask yourself how would your country react if a group of Israelis beat one of your policemen or soldiers like that ask yourself if someone acted like that against a policemen in your country how would the judge view it when you have answered those questions, then come and talk to us We know how the countries who have condemned us would act we know how the turks treat people who were helping the kurds we know how British Military police acted when confronted by angry Iraqi mobs in Basra we know how the French riot police acted when there were riots we know how the british riot police acted killing a man in the anti-capitalism riots when those prior incidents have had the same level of scrutiny come back and talk to us
12. #3, that is a weird comment
Danny   (06.02.10)
Your FM and PM have been claiming it was entirely peaceful and those nasty violent soldiers just shot into a bunch of innocent civilians..... Are you calling the turkish foreign ministry spokesman, the turkish FM and the turkish PM lying scumbags?
13. I am disgusted
k1w1 ,   NZ   (06.02.10)
The massacre of civilians by the IDF and the way it has been handled in Israel, the way it has been related in the Israeli media and the Israeli public reaction in general, is nothing short of absolutely despicable. The IDF attack in international waters on unarmed civilians who had posed no threat to anyone was an atrocity by any account, and in any normal, decent country, the government responsible for committing such an act would have reason to be concerned about the internal reaction. But not in Israel. In Israel there has been near universal support in the media and from the public for this criminal act. The confrontation has been termed a “battle” and the IDF commandos have been described as “heroes” who were “ambushed” in a “trap” and had to defend themselves from being “lynched” after they were confronted with “extreme violence” by an “armed” crowd of “thugs” or “terrorists” who posed a threat to the security of Israel. And the “proof” is that the activist defended themselves. The only thing the flotilla posed a threat to was the illegal siege imposed on Gaza by Israel and Egypt. But in Israel the activists on the flotilla, who include an 81-year-old US Ambassador and an 89-year-old Holocaust survivor, have been portrayed as “militants” in “league with Hamas and al Qaeda”. It’s ludicrous. Following the aspiration of building a moral, egalitarian, democratic society in the middle east distinguished from its barbaric neighbours, an outpost of western civilisation, Israel has now gone native, is now of a character with those who surround it rather than of those who support it, a country where a thuggish brute like Liebermann is the Foreign Minister and whose citizens condone and applaud every act of state terrorism. As for the international reaction to this latest atrocity committed by Israel: a lot of noise but really not much else. The US response has been predictably pathetic, while the UNSC statement (thanks to the US) didn’t even name Israel. Every country with nationals aboard the flotilla who were kidnapped and forcibly taken to Israel should have demanded that their citizens be immediately released without condition and withdrawn their diplomats from Tel Aviv until such time. And those responsible for ordering the attack on an unarmed, civilian vessel sailing in international waters should at the very least face charges of piracy and kidnapping. But don’t hold your breath. By and large, with US complicity, Israel will get away with this crime relatively unscathed, and the people of Israel and it’s supporters around the world will continue being proud of Israel’s crimes and will continue to support the dark regime that perpetrates them. Good one, Israel. I am disgusted.
14. God bless Israel
(06.02.10)
Soldiers you did a good job when encountering those turkish dogs. We are behind you guys the turks can go to hell. If anyone tries to kill you, you must kill him first.
15. Turkish relations
Shlomo the Homo ,   Tel Aviv   (06.02.10)
After 40 years of a hard work to build a good realtionship with a muslim strong country a dumb ass mustake will end all of that. Natanyaho your action now open the Egyptian crossing with Gaza and mor negative images of Israel is created. You should be ashamed of your stupid action.
16. and another thing...
Tayfun_Turkey   (06.02.10)
thank you for providing your soldiers with paint guns instead of real weapons or a lot more of us peace activists could have been hurt. Next time you should give your army stun grenades, pipes, chains, sling shots, and all the weapons we peace activists had.
17. The world hypocritical but history will prove Israel is righ
E M Jordan is Pales ,   S.F   (06.02.10)
Israel has all the rights to protect her nation against her enemies, IDF did exactly right thing that the all others nation would do but unfortunately like Netanyahu have said, world 'hypocritical' for condemning Gaza flotilla raid, by the way why the world do not convince Egypt to annex Gaza and will at least will solved the part of the problem.

20. #3 sad
(06.02.10)
Sad to see the once honorable Turks become dogs to their Iranian masters.
21. but, soldiers aren't proud of Netanyahu's 3 mistakes
observer   (06.02.10)
As head of the Security Cabinet, Netanyahu ordered the attack on the aid ships without consulting other Ministers in the Cabinet on those measures. As Health Minister of Israel, and as the Pensioner Affairs Minister, Netanyahu has to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of the wounded whom he called detainees. they weren't really detainees, they were kidnapped against their own will in international waters. 3 mistakes speak of a dictator.
22. what brave soldiers
