32. Stop Drinking Turkish Coffee
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (06.03.10)
Bottom line: Israel has 400 high fusion nukes..Jerichos, land mines, artillery shells, F15Is, Phantom 2,000. They can reach all parts of Turkey, en route to Iran. It should allocate 50 for Iran/Turkey to counter any attack by them against it's land, people or interest. Millions of Jews/Christians and otthers worldwise are getting sick and tired of Islamic fascists and fanatics and their mullahs. We are ready, willing and able to aid our spiritual brethren in Israel. I am ready to go and fight as are millions of others. Just give us the approval. In the interim, cancel any flights here..stop buying their products..let them side with Hamas. We will send them to their virgins. No more Turkish coffee and rugs.
33. TEH BOTTOM LINE
Mike ,   Israel   (06.03.10)
If the muslims had the brains and honesty they claim to have I and the rest of the normal world would be worried. However, as history has shown us, they dont have any brains or do they have an honest bone in there body. I'm sure once Trukey is thrown out of Nato and Europe they will no doubt blame Israel for this. It must be so hard for them to want to be someone they are not. Poor poor Turks

Time for Zionist re-organize the NILI who knew who the Tuks were and worked to destroy them. Le me just say also: "Remember Gourgen Yanikian!" Hero of the Armenian people. Google him and tell your friends too as well.
36. #20 Shut up Anton from Turkey
Menachem ,   Israel   (06.03.10)
It is Turkey and not Israel who has committed crimes against humanity including genocide and massacres. How dare you preaching morality to us Israelis? In contrast to Gazans, Kurds don't murder Turks and don't try to destroy Turkey. Gazans are prisoners of the same Fundamentalist Hamas-regime that so many Turks embrace.

David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
Well then next time there will be another embargo against Turkey (like the one from 1974 after the Cyprus invasion) you may not have Israel to help you lift it and yor trasury may again be in need of 70 cents and your 1.6 million Turkish Lira barely afford 1 USD. You may think this can not happen but if AKP goes on Iran's path it might not be far away. You see my friend: NE EKERSEN ONU BICERSIN.

41. KURDS and Israel?!!!
Al   (06.03.10)
The funniest thing is to see Israelis cheering for Kurds and Kurdistan. When will you get it? Kurds are extremely religious Muslims, most of Erdogan cabinet members are Kurds, his voters are mainly Kurds. Kurds regard Palestinian terrorists as brother/fellow fighters. Any help to Kurds will go to Palestinian terrorists and extremists in Turkey. Personally, I would be much happier to see a separate Kurdish state, so these Islamist fanatic Kurds would go and leave Turkey forever. But, unfortunately, Kurds are just like Arab Israelis, they will complain and betray forever, but will never leave. Because they have more benefits in Turkey/Israel.
42. Emre - Israel cares more about human rights then Turkey
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
In Turkey there are over a thousand people, journalists, professors, doctors, lawyers, artists detained for more then one year without any charges at the Silivri jail. Among them an honorable pediatric doctor Turkan Saylan who had dedicated her life to cure illnesses was jailed while she was fighting cancer. Is this what human rights are all bout for you? If not before you concern yourself about Israel's human rights issues please go to taksim and demonstrate about freeing those people at Silivri jail. In Israel there are many Israelis who write freely against some of the government's actions despite the fact that Israel is at war and none are in jail. Nobody is afraid of talking on the phone because the phones are not tapped. In Turkey you are not even free in a room. You risk to be illegally video taped and displayed in the media (YOu know I am talking about the videos of Deniz baykal) ONCE IGNEYI KENDINE BATIR SONRA CUVALDIZI BASKASINA Emre efendi.
43. Anton from Istanbul
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
You wrote all you israelis have is kurds and so called armenian genocide Well if all you Turks have Hamas and Gaza to talk about to hide the bleeding support for your Islamic government and spend your valuable time to post anti Israeli rhetoric in an Israeli media outlet, don't complain. If you support Israel's enemies you should not be surprised that Israelis will support Turkey's enemies. But if you want to be friendly then watch what you say.
44. Israel, accept the fact that Turkey is now one of your worst
Harry Wright ,   UK   (06.03.10)
enemies. Erdogan supported this so Turkey and the international activist organisers are culpable for those deaths by their initiation of that provocation and confrontation against a sovereign state. The Turks have no choice but to support their war-mongering dictator and their terrorist blockade busters. The fact that all those killed were Turks says EVERYTHING we need to know. The blockade-busting event has shown clearly that aid was used as an excuse and a cover until now. Israel must enforce its policy above board, professionally and in full glare of the public. Televise it as it happens. That is your best protection from the liars. Use the same tools they use - the media.
45. Turkey's upcoming elections
Hector ,   usa   (06.03.10)
Turkey's aggressive stance toward Israel is to gain favor with the Islamists in the upcoming elections.
46. Hypocrisy & Turkey's GENOCIDAL Hate For Non-Muslims
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (06.03.10)
The Armenian Genocide was centrally planned and administered by the Turkish government against the entire Armenian population of the Ottoman Empire. It was carried out during W.W.I between the years 1915 and 1918. The Armenian people were subjected to deportation, expropriation, abduction, torture, massacre, and starvation. The great bulk of the Armenian population was forcibly removed from Armenia and Anatolia to Syria, where the vast majority was sent into the desert to die of thirst and hunger. Large numbers of Armenians were methodically massacred throughout the Ottoman Empire. Women and children were abducted and horribly abused. The entire wealth of the Armenian people was expropriated. After only a little more than a year of calm at the end of W.W.I, the atrocities were renewed between 1920 and 1923, and the remaining Armenians were subjected to further massacres and expulsions. In 1915, thirty-three years before UN Genocide Convention was adopted, the Armenian Genocide was condemned by the international community as a crime against humanity. One and a half million Armenians perished between 1915 and 1923. http://www.armenian-genocide.org/genocidefaq.html And G-D said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground." Bible, Genesis 4:10 Jews and Christians, get out of Turkey before it's too late!
47. to 20
George ,   usa   (06.03.10)
Anton, perhaps you need to consider the hypocricy of accusing Israel of terrible crimes while Turkey refuses even to acknowledge the Armenian genocide or the denial of kurdish national rights. Perhaps turkey should worry about its own house first
48. TURKIES ISLAMIC GOVERMENT AND HAMMAS A MATCH MADE IN HELL
AF ,   USA   (06.03.10)
THey deserve each other. It is natural for one evil islamic movement to befriend the other.
49. turks are hypocrats
Ako   (06.03.10)
they kill kurds every day, and have the kurds in their own land inside a prison , how come the internationel community never say anything about this? they should demonstrate to stop killing kurds instead and let them speak their language
50. For those championing Kurdistan:
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (06.03.10)
The Kurds deserve a state of their own, just as the Palestinians do, but do not make the mistake of counting them in the "an enemy of my enemy is my friend." The Kurds are far more religiously fanatical and backward than even religious Turks, and they would certainly never see Israel as their friend or comrade. The Armenian genocide, however, is another story.

56. the "scar" mostly is on israel
jerusalem   (06.03.10)
I wonder if the footage that the 3 al jazeera correspondents on board those ships have been released by the IL govt yet... insha'allah may more voyages to gaza to come. wow... "we're all soldiers of Hamas" thats got to sting huh? lol all that hard work in trying to make hamas look bad, especially since the start of the 2nd intifada; disregaring those "bad apples" like Noam Chomsky or Galloway as "lunatics" and one day...BOOM ...you find out (or are slowly finding out) that your plan went down the drain.. see, patience and perservence never hurt noone. some of Ghandi's logic is still sound in the present day world.
57. They are NOT Turks!
(06.03.10)
In fact, if you ask these people about their identity, they would reply as Muslims, Kurds, Chechnians, Persians, Arabs, etc...but NOT Turks. Most of these people are immigrants in Turkey, they came from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Kafkaz etc. Also, some of them are ethnically Armenians and Pontians who converted to Islam during Ottoman times. So, for these people their only tie to Turkey is Islam. Like PM Erdogan, he is Georgian immigrant to Turkey, he never calles himself a Turk, he says he is a citizen of Turkey and he is Muslims. Erdogan's wife is a Muslim Arab. It's a shame Turks are publicised as these religious maniacs. If you meet real Turks(ethnic Turks or people who have Turkish traditions), you will see that most Turks are secular, followers of Ataturk, and they feel connected to Turks in other regions rather than Arabs. In fact, Turks are one of the most anti-Arab societies due to Arab betrayal of 1915. Many Turks were massacred by Arabs then. It seems it will take a long time to heal Turkish-Israeli ties, but believe it or not some Turks have Jewish blood, and some Jews have Turkish blood(Khazar Empire, mixed societies under Ottomans and Republic of Turkey). Relations will be ok after Erdogan&his religious maniacs leave.
58. Onur yes Jews are proud
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
Because we created a free, modern nation in 63 years, while you are ruining the great secular Turkish republic that Ataturk created 87 years ago. Turkey a nation in peace with all its neighbors has over 1000 people journalists, intellectuals doctors, scientists in Silivri Jail (doctor Turkan Saylan was in jail while she was battling cancer) many of them for more then a year without any charges. I am sure you are very proud of this fascistic rule of AKP. You have seen the mob protesting at Taksim a few days ago. Many men with Arab flags in their hands (No Turkish flags while even orthodox Jews who were protesting anti Israel had Turkish flags go figure!) They were like the same mob that killed Kubilay at Menemen in 1927. And I am sure you are very proud of this too. And this is your creation. At least between 1950 and 1980 when I lived in Turkey we fought against these mobs and for the secular path of Ataturk. Your generation can be proud for taking this glorious country into Iran's path of middle age.
59. Dav Lev - Turkish Cofee
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
I am a Turkish coffee addict but I ma buying Loumides coffee that tastes better then the Kuru kahveci Mehmet Efendi and it is cheaper. Mix it with some bold espresso from Starbucks if you like it stronger as I do.
60. Yavuz who is responsible?
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.03.10)
1. All other ships surrendered to Israeli navy and no body was injured because their captains were responsible. Only The Turkish Mavi Marmara had violent resistance and all resistors (Including the US Ciizen from Turkish origin and living in Istanbul) are Turkish. How come the Arab's in the ship were more peaceful then the Turks? Think about it. I am not saying that Turks ar barbarians as many believe in Europe but the supporters of IHH and AKP definitely are not peaceful people. 1. The captain of the ship is responsible for the lives of the passengers. As all other ship's captains secured their passengers by surrendering to Israeli navy The only Turkish captain put the lives in danger by not surrendering to an overwhelmingly stronger navy. If (And I believe soon he will be) he is tried ion a court of law, he could be found negligent and guilty in securing his passengers and held responsible for the unfortunate deaths. And please learn to speak without 4 letter words. I know in Turkey you are used to this and it is very common to ANA AVRAT DUZ GITMEK but it is really not proper. It only showes your level or intellect or total lack of it. Iyimi?
