Charles ,   Cleveland   (06.03.10)
What has Bibi been waiting for? A real shot across the bow? Erdogan never has been a friend of Israel, and as long as he remains in power, this sham of a "relationship" will only hurt Israel.
10. Shlomo the homo....
Israel is real   (06.03.10)
...truly exemplifies the revolting "I am such a humanist"-" left that has grown in Israel. This deluded group of idealists think their elitist thoughts have actual application in the real world. The arrogant, self loathing Jews at Haaretz, the faux intellectual lefty professors that abound across campuses in Israel truly are nauseating. When the secularist pragmatists, as the founders of the state were, (that should always run the country) start falling prey to these mindless dreamers, we will all watch as the Arabs and Muslims worlwide behead us all. PS Leftys - don't think you will be spared.
11. When we jews stop playing iditic games
S.Benyaminov ,   NYC,Brooklyn   (06.03.10)
When we jews stop playing idiotic games….We need to unite and stand strong in support of Israel 100% not 99%. World always will blame us jews, so on that note we dont need to explain anything to anyone. Let World Community burn in hell with their hatred towards us. Oh to all the motherficking peace activist go to hell and so to all lefty SOB jews so called liberal progressive asholes stay away from Israel. All this BS getting on my nervers
12. Finally a brave Erdogan will expose israel & yet to come
Joy   (06.03.10)
13. #1 - they were not aid workers, they were "activists"
William ,   Israel   (06.03.10)
There is a big difference, and a bit more credibility/professionalism with the title of "Humanitarian aid worker". The activists opened fire first, they attacked first, they lost their right to be called "civilians" at that point. They got what they deserved, and no one can defend the actions of these violent "activists" especially after seeing the contraband they were hauling those ships.
14. major lolz @ 'legal raid'
JJohnson ,   Turks & Caicos   (06.03.10)
"...expressing their anger over Ankara's conduct in the wake of the legal raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla. " crack me up.
15. Turkey and the Bible . . .
Craig Crawford ,   Laguna Niguel USA   (06.03.10)
Many people will simply yawn and ignore these headlines and Bible prophecies ... yet, God does NOT fulfill His prophecies or prophetic warnings in secret, but so all the world can see. For many years a number of Bible prophecy teachers and scholars have been warning the one piece of the puzzle missing in the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy (where Russia-Magog and Iran-Persia and allies attack and invade Israel) was for TURKEY (a NATO ally-nation) to turn toward Russia and Iran and against Israel (as this prophecy predicts.) The world has waited over 2,500 years to see the headlines we are now seeing.  This prophetic war between Iran and Israel has never yet taken place ... and it IS very much a part of the coming "Apocalypse" and Armageddon scenario. God has been warning and preparing this generation for this coming war for well over 10 years ... and the headlines concerning this coming war can now be found almost daily all around the world. God is trying to get our attention and to draw those who are His back to Him before it is too late. With open arms and with tears of joy God promises to welcome and to shelter and comfort ALL who will come to Him before these events take place (or before their earthly bodies die) ... yet, the Bible warns God will not mourn, nor have mercy, on those who reject and ignore and mock His Word and His warnings ... Grace and Shalom,
16. Botched raid
Shlomo The Homo ,   Tel Aviv   (06.03.10)
A commission of inquiry into Israel's botched raid will tell us nothing we don't know. Better that our leaders stand up and admit they were wrong, so that we can all move forward.

19. Interception of the Gaza flotilla-Legal aspects
David ,   Israel   (06.03.10)
Introduction For several years, the State of Israel has been engaged in an ongoing armed conflict with terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza strip. This armed conflict has intensified after Hamas violently took over Gaza, in June 2007, and turned the territory under its de-facto control into a launching pad of mortar and rocket attacks against Israeli towns and villages in southern Israel. The State of Israel took different measures to defend its citizens from the terrorist attacks originating from the Gaza strip. Initially, all feasible steps were taken in order to avoid using extensive military force, including diplomatic and economic military measures, as well as relatively limited military operations. When these measures proved ineffective, and the barrage of rockets against the Israeli civilian population continued, and even intensified, the State of Israel had no choice but to take an extensive military action - Operation "Cast Lead". The entire activities of Israel in this armed conflict are governed by the Law of Armed Conflict (also known as: International Humanitarian Law). For more click here:

prole30 ,   Israel   (06.03.10)
The Turks massacred the Armenians, robbed the Cypriots of their land, persecute the Kurds without mercy. They never cease to disgrace themselves.

Miri ,   israel   (06.03.10)
Humanitarian aid workers amongst terrorists armed with heavy chains, metal bars, sling shots etc. They were being used as a cover. The ships were requested to sail to Ashdod so that their cargo could be checked and from there given the OK to enter Gaza.
24. Sad
Thundercloud65 ,   USA   (06.03.10)
Israel has the right to intercept any ship it sees as a threat. All nations do. What I find sad though is that Israel fell for such an obvious ploy. It appears that Israeli actions are now predictable to its enemies. Not good.
