If these boats really are about the "unjust" blockade, let us play them at their own game. Israel should make a public announcement setting out the terms for lifting the blockade:
(1) A free and transparents election to take place in Gaza,
(2) An immediate and unconditional release of Gilad Shalit,
(3) Recognition of Israel by the victor of the election,
(4) Cessation of all active and passive hostilities against Israel, including arms smuggling.
Do that and stick to it, we will lift the blockade and the people of Gaza will be free citizens of the world. Fail to accept a single item or breach it subsequently, and the blockade is maintained for a minimum of two years at which point it will be reviewed.
