Do you have problems with Turkey supporting Iran now? Or with their ties to the terrorist organization IHH? I've been reading for months now in an independent news analysis firm that Turkey wants to condemn Israel in order to gain favor with Iran, Syria, and the other Arab countries. That they were looking for an opportunity to sever ties with Israel, and well, now they have it. I don't think that in the long run this is a good strategy for Turkey. It will hurt Israel, too. I feel hurt, because I appreciated the friendship between Turkey and Israel and felt a bond with Turkey, now I am not very sure....

To all who think that a counter-boycott on IKEA or H&M is a good idea please reconsider. Their presence here is a vote of confidence in our country and they deserve to be treated with respect for taking their business decision to open branches in Israel. Let's not become xenophobic like the Swedish leftists. We are better human beings than they are.

This is not the story of supporting Iran If you have carefully examine Turkish-Iranian relations you can clearly see that relations are full of ups and downs.Due to Iranian previous support to PKK terrorist organization and differences in both countries regimes.Secular Turkey got nothing to do with gaining favor of Iran.No matters Erdogan is islamic rooted. In this country governments come and go but secularism remains.I do not even mention how Syria is unreliable.Just a decade ago (1997) we were on the edge of having a war with Syria.So there is no point and benefit for Turkey to gain favor sympathy of those Arab countries and Iran. Israel is way more reliable country for Turkey.This is historically proven we had good relations from existence of State of Israel till 2008.Yet relations were deeply worsened because of dump politicians at both side.One of them is halfway dictator and emotional Erdogan who is not able to differentiate his personal sympathy towards Palestinians and politics and other one is Ayalon and Netanyahu government which prefers to solve every problem by using excessive force and who eventually can not avoid world condemnation.Well finally at the end of the day both countries will understand that they need each other since both of them are isolated by untrustable nations.This is a story of couple of dumb men at both countries.But nothing more. An old friend cant turn to foe in a night.

Sure, go and boycott Israel. Just make sure you burn your disk-on-key, since even though it was made in Taiwan it was invented in Israel. Pls, let Sweden start the boycott, they have all to lose. Sweden buys goods for about 3 MUSD from Israel, but Israel buys for about 12 MUSD from Sweden. So who's the biggest loser in this? If there are any Swede's being able to do the maths here, Swedes would continue to lose jobs and who would then pay the welfare for the muslims with four wives and children?
