1. I'm pretty much ready to give up - just gonna stockpile my..
Few words left ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.06.10)
...guns and booze and some dogs and wait for the apocalypse. Beats working 9-5 anyways.
2. Why don't these people get it?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Joe Goebbels ,   Munich, Germany   (06.06.10)
The world wants you DEAD! Gazans want you DEAD! What universe are you living in??? Everything about this article makes me want to pull my hair out.
3. Where do they live?
Kathy ,   US   (06.06.10)
Do the Jewish people who will be on this boat live in Israel? If not, it is not their country which is in harm's way if Hamas gets weapons smuggled into Gaza.
4. Laughable
Mark ,   Johannesburg   (06.06.10)
This has to be the most rediculous thing I have read. Doesnt even justify a rebuke.
5. HAHAHAHA...LOL..Boy,I can't stop laughing. Too funny!!!
Jan M ,   Sweden   (06.06.10)
6. Jewish flotilla
Mark ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
Are these people walking free while they clean their padded cells?
7. But...
Daniel   (06.06.10)
...Israel is delivering the aid that is being brought. It's not impeding the delivery. And in fact, Hamas refused receipt of it. I mean, come on...how can you not see what is going on here? The attempt to break the blockade may be well intentioned, but i don't see anyone doing anything of the sort for Sudan (where piracy is a REAL problem).
8. The Blockade
Sidney ,   Lebanon NH USA   (06.06.10)
The blockade is a humane attempt to diminish the attacks from Gaza. All such issues could be settled immediately if the surrounding states simply recognized Israel, stopped attacking her, and made provisions for the Arab refugees as should have occurred decades ago. Israel is trying to distance herself from Palestinian terrorists and has already ceded much territory that was rightly hers. A substiute for the blockade would be a harsh counter attack every time a missle strike eminated from Gaza. The present embargo, which permits food, medication, and other necessities is a humanitarian substitute. Nevertheless, the blockade is hardly a permanent solution. All the various stakeholders in the Middle East really need to get together and find a new more creative solution. Neither the "two state" or the "one state" (whatever that might be) alternative is viable. There probably needs to be a new entity, created and guaranteed by multiple states, wherein the Palestinians can live and develop. Israel does not have the power to solve the problems of these refugees who have been so cruelly used (mostly by their Arab/Islamic brethren) through the decades.
9. Wow, alot of Leftists looking for attention
William ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
A lot of global leftists jumping on the bandwagon to gain recognition all of a sudden....now that they know they won't slaughtered by the IDF like they would be by IRG or the Sudanese. It's easy to jump on the coat tails of others, especially if there's plenty of cash floating around for them.
10. Haniyeh "we have nothing against Israel, just occupation"
William ,   Israel   (06.06.10)
Except that Lutz didn't press him on why the Hamas charter demands the ethnic cleansing of all Jews (that survive) and a total destruction of Israel. If Haniyeh has nothing against Israel, then he wouldn't mind changing the charter and releasing Shalit. As for Lutz - she's more of a putz. She did nothing to act as a bridge between two people but acted in her own self-interests. Being Jewish doesn't give you the right to speak for Israel nor does it mean you are intelligent like other Jews.
11. Distorted reality
Moshino ,   Tel Aviv   (06.06.10)
I'm glad they want to help. But it's sad they're buying into the propaganda. Why not make a quick stop in Sderot before you get to Gaza? I wish I had seen the same fervor about Sderot when the city was being barraged with missiles, making the lives of hundreds of thousands of children unbearable. I didn't hear of any German activists sending musicians to cheer them up. They were also in very precarious economic situation (many still are). I don't see the same activists worrying about their well-being. Poverty in Israel affects 1 out of 5 children. Israeli children (many of whom are from Ethiopia, Russia, Yemen, Morocco, Arab villages) also need their help, not their hatred or "fear." You want to repair the world? Why not start with your own house!?
12. Gilad Shalit means nothing to this Kapo,

stripped of "jewishness" in ashdod ? maybe leviticus had some splendid idea ?
16. German Jews NEVER learn!!!
Andrew M ,   Leeds, UK   (06.06.10)
It's ironic, isn't it, that the children and grandchildren of German Jews who fell over themselves to be accepted despite Hitler's clear intentions are making the same stupid mistakes all over again. Is there something strange in the water in Germany, or what?! Get a grip, you unbelievable schmucks!!!
17. I just don't get it.
Baruch ,   Beit El, Israel   (06.06.10)
Israel stopped the ships but let the supplies through in the end. I just don't get what the world is upset about.
18. if u do,i may feel jew again.
Ivan ,   Haifa   (06.06.10)
19. Stupid naiive fools
Judah ,   Golan Heights,iSRAEL   (06.06.10)
The Hamas leader told them that "he is only against the occupation". Do these peebrains not realize that when he talks about "occupation" he is refering to ALL of Israel.
20. Wow, you are a complete tool
Michael L ,   TA Israel   (06.06.10)
"He turned to me and said they have nothing against Jews or Israel, only against the occupation." Are you out of your mind? Do you really have no idea that you are being used?

26. "Useful idiots"...
EARL MANN ,   toronto, canada   (06.06.10)
Has the world gone mad? These people sure have! Omg! These 'useful idiots' are the secular equivilent of naturai karta!
27. Probably descendants of the same German Jews....
flyingdoc57 ,   Florida, U.S.A.   (06.06.10)
...who supported Hitler prior to 1939. And there were plenty of them. Jews were left-wing liberals/socialists back then as well. Stories like this are upsetting, but should come as no surprise to those who understand the political mindset of most Jews. An understanding of this mindset puts to rest all questions about why 78% of American Jews voted for Obama, and will do so again (despite the regret that they express in these talkbacks). Liberalism is an incurable, and frequently fatal, mental disorder. It's as simple as that. And it is clearly not limited to Jews.
28. So sick.
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.06.10)
