I sent this email the organizers of the parade. Show support for Israel and our gay community : Dear Organizers, This morning I have read your revoking the invitation to the Israeli delegation. I wanted to send you my protest in email and express how disappointing and narrow-minded this decision is and how you are letting factors that have nothing to do with gay rights interfere in your decision. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that holds pride parades and hangs pride flags on the streets. We have a large gay community and our events are attended by people from all over the world. This blatant discrimination against Israeli elements go against the basic foundation of the Pride Parade of tolerance. The political situation in the middle east has nothing to do with fighting for gay rights. I am not gay and nor have I ever participated in a gay parade. I do however support gay rights and freedoms as do my friends and peers. This display of hostility towards the Israeli gay community is shameful.

so, Spain has dis invited the Israel pride group, which is the only country in the middle east which provides a safe haven for gay refugees (including gay Palestinians). I guess Spain would rather support anit gay rights arab groups then Israel. Please try to explain what is going on as it now appears that Spain is now so politically correct that they are supporting groups which would normally do great harm to the gay community.

I diagree with the headline of this article. Israel was invited to participate, so Spanish Pride DID WANT ISRAELI PARTICIPATION". Tel Aviv's pride event is well known in Spain and generally there is support for the Israeli LGBT community. The pride organizers have shown their cowardice for allowing themselves to become pawns of pro-palestinian organizations which advocate imprisonment and even death for LGBT people. Although their "security concerns" are justified, considering the number of arabs living in Spain, I am sure a solution could have been found if they really had BALLS.
