The general US population has no idea what is going on in the world, *especially* regarding Israel and the M.E. in general because 95% of the information available in the US is controlled by FIVE organizations. Unless a person is willing to spend the time and energy to pore through one international site after another, compiling a list of factual consistency, and apply enough discipline to discern an objective picture among the pervasive editorializing, and bias across the spectrum from blatant hostility to pernicious sublety from virtually every news source on the planet, then sadly, they do not have any idea what is going on here. Few have even the time to begin searching for accurate information. Of course the same applies to civilians everywhere, but for the most part we share a common desire of mutual peace. It is only the governments and financiers who wage war for money and power. Therefore let us not muffle our own voices amongst each other. There is a resolution that has passed in the UN General assembly every year since 1983. It is entitled"Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Question" and the vote has been consistently 94% of the world against the US and Israel. It basically calls on Israel to comply w/intern'l law. According to your logic , Israel should"dump the US" which vetoed 3 prior UNSC resolutions which would have placed the most punitive economic sanctions on Israel ever imposed on a country. Alienate the US and Israel literally would not exist. Of the 42 vetoes cast by the US in Israel's favor in the UNSC, in almost all of them they were the only dissenting vote. Start reading the history and then tell me who can't be trusted and who violates international law.Do you believe the entire world and the World court doesn't know the law only Israel does?
