1. Uri Brodsky
Harold ,   USA   (06.13.10)
Yes if he is guilty he should be tried where the crime took place i.e DUBIA.
2. blah blah blah - Pals will themselves be arrested
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (06.13.10)
Nothing like a bunch of known criminals praising the authorities. Mabhouh was a known terrorist who masterminded several fatal attacks against Israeli civilians. It's pathetic when westerners get sucked into the sob Palestinian propaganda stories that Mabhouh was some innocent sap on a business trip to Dubai. He was a known killer who would have killed innocent civilians again. Maybe these same crocodile tear shedders would like to see every Hamas thug who helped with a suicide bombing or car bombing handed over to authorities? Not likely. Hamas likes to kill Israeli civilians under the phony slogan "legitimate resistance to the occupation." Nothing is more illegitimate than killing civilians - and even Goldstone concluded that Hamas policy to kill civilians is a war crime. The whole civilized world rejects Hamas crimes. Mabhouh was such a war criminal. He paid the price of being a dirty soldier in Hamas' dirty war against us.
3. Crap, crap, and more baseless crap! Get over yourself Hamas.
sdunc ,   USA   (06.13.10)
4. Invoke EU Law, he cannot be sent to the UAE
The Dude   (06.13.10)
It would be illegal for the EU to send someone off to another country which would in all certainty perform human rights abuses against the detainee (i.e. the UAE will torture him). Hence he may be sent off to Germany or stay in Poland. But being sent to the UAE would go completely against EU laws.
5. considering there is a WAR....
mattan ,   usa   (06.13.10)
considering we (the civilized world) are currently in a war against terror, there is no reason to arrest this war hero or extradite him at all. there was no collateral damage, just a successful act of justice. clearly those who support punishing anyone involved in this beautiful 'hit' supports the terrorists instead.
6. Yes the world rejects murderous arab terrorists!
Cynic ,   USA   (06.13.10)
7. Enemy combatant?
Jimbo ,   Pasadena, USA   (06.13.10)
This guy sounds like he fits the classical Bush-Cheney definition of an enemy combatant. Maybe if he's water-boarded, he'll cough up the names and locations of the other 25 co-conspirators
8. DID HE KILL A KNOWN TERRORIST?
BEN ,   FREE WORLD   (06.13.10)
If he helped kill a known terrorist then he deserves a MEDAL. The free world should stand with this hero.
9. Germany after Jews again
AK   (06.13.10)
Don't remember that level of activity when a Turk stole thousands of German passports and falsified visas.
10. How about a fair trial and I think he did the world a favor
Paul Nelson ,   Louisville, KY   (06.13.10)
I seriously doubt he'd get a fair trial anywhere in the world and suspect he'll be used as an example for those wanting vengeance for the justified killing of a terrorist wanted by THREE countries (Egypt, Israel and Jordan). The piece of filth got what he was due for abducting and murdering two IDF soldiers. Set Uri free and hunt the other Hamas terrorist to their extinction.
11. The targeted assination of a murderer is NOT a crime.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.13.10)
12. His son was a gun runner and murderer of many woman/children
JO   (06.13.10)
nothing to be proud of at all.Yet he is- shows his own morality is in jeopardy. i would not be proud of my son if he was such.
13. Harold #1
Frank P ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.13.10)
How will he be determined guilty before he is tried? Furthermore how will he receive a fair trail at all?
14. He is accused of a crime in Germany
Barry   (06.13.10)
of obtaining a passport by deception for which he will probably get bail and if convicted a fine. Even if there is evidence that he was somehow involved in this terrorist's assassination the European Convention on Human Right prohibits extradition to countries such as Dubai which practice torture and carry out the death penalty
15. Treason
#1 ,   UK   (06.13.10)
If he was a dual citizen and had a German passport he could and should be tried for treason. Life without parole or hung is the best for anyone who goes against the country they reside in. Treason - a citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavour. If involved directly he should face the music and dance in Dubai.
16. Mahmoud al-Mabhouh the dancing murderer?
Mike B ,   London   (06.13.10)
Is this the same Mahmoud al-Mabhouh who was responsible for the murder of Avi Sasportas and Ilan Sa'adon? Didn't he celebrate by dancing on one of the bodies?
17. look at the face of hate and bitterness on that photo
she looks so ,   spiritual...not!   (06.13.10)
18. If he is tried and found guilty...
Naor ,   USA   (06.13.10)
He should be given a medal for valor and returned to Israel. Nothing more!
19. to #15 :p they arrested the real brodsky
ghostq   (06.13.10)
they forgot his passport was used with out his knoldge, not only his identity was stolen now he was arrested for doing nothing, sound like people forgot this simple fact. but than again when it comes to Muslims they don't need much facts, they just go for who ever they don't like.
20. WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS...
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.13.10)
Is he just simply a known Mossad agent and is being set up as the scapegoat for the world to hang... or is there proof that he has actually done something. And if there is proof, why is it not being reported? And yes, is he guilty without a trial, guilty of being Israeli, guilty of being a Jew, like Jews of the Crusades and Inquisition were?
21. World rejects Israeli crime' and is glad Mabhouh is dead
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (06.13.10)
What the family seems to have missed is that the world is not upset that Mabhouh was killed but that their passports were used to do it. And as of yet, no one has proven that Israel had anything to do with it.
22. KILLING IN WAR !!!.
Arn ,   SWEDEN.   (06.13.10)
THE HAMAS MAN FROM GAZA WAS ON A MILITARY MISSION. AND HAMAS IS STILL IN WAR WITH ISRAEL, WHICH CAN BE SEEN BY THE ROCKETS STILL COMING FROM GAZA , AGAINST ISRAEL. IT CAN ALSO BEE SEEN IN THE NONRELEASE OF THE GILAD SHALIT PRISONER. TO KILL A MILLITANT IS NOT A WAR CRIME OR A CRIME AS SUCH. IF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, HOSTS HOSTILE ENEMIES AT WAR WITH ISRAEL, ON MILITARY HOSTILE MISSION AGAINST ISRAEL ON ITS OWN TERRITORRY, THEY HAS NO MORAL RIGHT TO JUDGE ISRAEL, FOR ACTING AGAINST SUCH AN ENEMY ON ITS OWN TERRITORRY. Arn.
23. wake up Jews
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (06.13.10)
Israel apparently killed Mabhouh, a man responsible for transferring weapons from Iran to Hamas for the purpose of genocide. Read the Hamas charter. Israel stopped the terror flotilla on its way to help the Hamas in their plans for genocide. Yet no one supports Israel. Even Obama who is responsible for the daily murder of Afghan civilians in a useless war supports Hamas.
24. #5 re: your pathetic post
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (06.13.10)
Treason and dancing in Dubai? Wishful thinking with your brain out of gear If he's not German he can't be tried for treason...at most it's forgery. If guilty, see Barry's post #14
25. #17
bro ,   Canada   (06.13.10)
she has a face that is crying for justice. You people have lost your conscious and it seems the two thousand years living in the wilderness was not enough for you to see an eye to eye. God of Abraham may teach you the same lesson again.
26. #20! Is it you? If yes, send me mail.
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (06.13.10)
27. #26 Tanya
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.13.10)
Yes. It's me. Trying to participate in THE "war". I will write to your mail (not right now - I'm at work) but just know that I was only asking rhetorical questions. I KNOW THE ANSWERS!!! :-)
28. # 9, again with Poland (#5)
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (06.13.10)
29. to#9 I am sorry, I mean # 24 from Poland
