1. This guy forges passports.
Cynic #2   (06.13.10)
Germany demanded his extradition and Poland is bound by its agreement with Germany to extradite suspects for interrogation. In Israel you detain Palestinians without investigations or trials because you assume they are all terrorists. At least Germany wants to interrogate the suspect first. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander!
2. The world is getting crazy!
Emilio ,   Sao Paulo - Brazil.   (06.13.10)
One can not forge passports any more? One can not kill people in foreign countries? The world is getting crazy!
3. Unique Country
Palestinian ,   Jerusalem   (06.13.10)
Israel want always to be above the law, the world is changed ..... your horrible faults becomes more heavy than your friends can handle ....
4. The Victim Role
Amin ,   Free World   (06.13.10)
Israel, stop playing the same role you were playing for 70 years, you are not the victim, you are the real criminal, criminals always has the same end, you can ask the history. Good bye strong Israel, the end starts now, very sad scene, but you deserve that.
5. Israel has two choices
Rarian Rakista ,   PDX, OR   (06.13.10)
Admit everything or engage most of the western world in a Cold War. Israel has used all of its, " Get out of Jail Free " cards.
6. Israel is right
Nadav ,   tlv   (06.13.10)
israel does not need to admit anything to DUbai, which is a "country" that has no diplomatic ties with Israel and aids and abets Israel's enemies! The Hamas criminal was assassinated, which is what the British, Russians, French, and Americans do EVERYDAY in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries without any hindrance or interference. Poland should return the Israeli citizen back to Israel- period.
7. Real chutzpah
Ivor Biggun   (06.13.10)
Israel is now the only country in the world where it's citizens can commit a crime in another country and be tried in Israel. Does this minister realise how stupid he sounds?
8. #5 The silliest false dichotomy I heard all year!
Logic ,   Israel   (06.13.10)
9. illegal activity
Monika ,   Australia   (06.13.10)
This man must be brought to the justice in dubai, where the crime took a place. barbarian .........
10. This Writer Has Cahones!
World Citizen ,   the world   (06.13.10)
Send him to Israel? Basically he saying "Poland should let him escape because even though the world considers his actions criminal but he did it for Israel so he's a hero to us." I call that Jonathon Pollard logic. Only the Israeli mind could come up with a logic so flawed. I hope the Poles turn him over to Germany and the Germans send him down to Du Bai. They'll get the truth out of him.
11. Killing an arch-terrorist is a crime ??
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (06.13.10)
12. #11 Noodles, #1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10...
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (06.13.10)
No, Noodles. Killing and arch-terrorist is not a crime. The "crime" is that Israel did it and so proved it could defend itself. The only way people with twisted minds can attack Israel and get away with it is verbally, with twisted logic.
13. to #9 there is no evidence that connect him
ghostq   (06.13.10)
to the event, you know in democracy no evidences no trile, the people who used those visas in the assasination weren't the owners, all of them complainet of stealing their identities. I suggest you will look at the facts not at the arab fiction.
14. HE probably wasn't told the use of the passports
SAM ,   NJ USA   (06.13.10)
Inteligence circles, don't give more information than needed to any of their fieldmen. The guy forging passports, has no idea of their intended use. Each part of the game is done by a different coordinator, he sendsthe forged passports to his operator who gets them to the intended place. Germany may have a case agaist him if true, but Dubai has nothing against him, and would violate international law to extradite him there, where they have already sentamnced him to death in absentesia. BTW Germany kicked out my mother &her parents added a name in their passports, so who are threy to complain about a Jew forging their passports?
15. Who Cares
E ,   Al Kohbar, KSA   (06.13.10)
Every country is, or has, used these tactics, especially when they are at war. It was Hamas who perpetuate the crimes, not Israel.
16. Monika
Dan   (06.13.10)
What did your father and grandfather do in 1939-1945?
17. Israel has right to engage Poland
Goy ,   Zambia   (06.13.10)
Many countries have done this
18. a quote of the week
tomek ,   Lublin, Poland   (06.13.10)
"Our legal system is known throughout the world and can handle this issue" Because your legal system is indeed known throughout the world, that's why this individual should be sent to Germany, the country which shall prosecute him justly. Forging foreign passports might not be a crime in Israel but, sorry to break the news to you guys, it is a crime in Europe. The only thing that can protect Brodsky is his dual Polish citizenship (unless his Polish passport was forged as well). Poland does not extradite her citizens on the basis of a European Arrest Warrant without solid proof that the individual concerned has committed a crime elsewhere in Europe.
19. Boy oh boy,
shrinkDave ,   Miami USA   (06.14.10)
I sure hope the CIA, or MI5 or any other spy services aren't using fake passports, or they're gonna get in big trouble. If Osama Bin Laden gets captured or killed by an agent using a fake passport, oh my God, he'll get in so much trouble! Who would ever have imagined that secret agents use fake passports? BAD Israel. Good rest of world!
20. #7 - Well, it worked for Sammy Sheinbein!!!!
dorothy friend ,   tel aviv   (06.15.10)
Boy, are we gonna be sorry when he gets out of prison in a couple of years!!!! I hope he goes to live among the people who most pushed against his deportation.
21. Are there no tourism issues in Israel?
Paul ,   Trinidad   (06.20.10)
Why is the tourism minister making such a statement? Oh well no one has a clue about the israeli government's policies because they don't have an policies.
