32. #25: haredim are the ONLY ones standing up for israel
david ,   usa   (06.17.10)
haredim are the only ones actually standing up for israel. they have more than 7 kids on average, they don't leave to live in los angeles and (most importantly) they uniformly HATE the arabs. I heard quite a few mention the word "Palestinians" and then add "Yemach shemam". in order to survive, we need people who stand up for themselves and know who their enemies are. other (more equivocal) israelis should stand up and take note.
33. Zeal for Tanakh...
Kabbalah Activist ,   Niles, IL, USA   (06.17.10)
...horrifying visual violence but Haredi's are boldly resilient to political correctness and secularisms...Israel bears a higher calling and is Spiritually accountable as the "Light to the Nations" which includes the meaning behind Shabbat, the dignity of the deceased...with the assist of their Rabbi's and Government they could arrive at more peaceful methods to spread their messages...speedily in our days w/the gilgul...speedily in our days King Mashiach
34. I truly don't understand these people ....
EST ,   Miami USA   (06.17.10)
Racism IS NOT the Jewish way. Further, most of them are supported by the hard-working people of Israel. The extremists are probably the ones that don't even work here!!! Most haredim I know are decent, hard-working people and I'm sure they understand that paying for setting their communitites on fire or having police work extra hours...will have to come out of someone's pockets ... These leeches, those who are setting things afire, don't care because all they do is extend their hands to be fed and clothed!!!
35. David , 31 . try to read if you can
Charles ,   Petaqch Tikva   (06.17.10)
36. Again those racist charidim !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.17.10)
Now they insult police officers , before this the school at Emanuel , or the swchool in my town where they refused children of Ethiopian origin . And this in the name of a god ?
37. #28 They Can't Even Find Herod's Temple Much Less Solomon's
World Citizen ,   the world   (06.17.10)
The wall of the city you refer to date to Herod's time but they were not part of the temple he built. As a matter of fact the only reference to Israel in so-called Biblical times was the Joash (sp?) tablet and it turned out to be a fake. The prommegranite cap of a temple staff(?) was declared a fake too. A recent claim that an ancient synagogue proved to be a pagan worship site. Even ynetnews reported that! There is no verifiable archealogical evidence that Solomon or David ever existed except in the minds of your priest class. Go read some of the publications of your own archeaologists. They have nothing! Nada! Zero!
38. #14 numbers 12
Daniel ,   TA   (06.23.10)
It's a shame HaShem hasn't given these leeches on our society leprosy! Their behaviour is disgusting. How the state can continue to give them money for anything is beyond me! Cut their funding for each garbage can burned and each attack on Israeli citizenry and police! These people think themselves above the law of the land. Sadly we pay them to think so!
39. #32 David USA
Daniel ,   TA   (06.23.10)
Haredim do NOT stand up for Israel. Yes they breed like cockroaches and that combats the potential Arab majority, but they do NOT believe Israel should exist. They do not work. They do not serve in the military. They DO consider themselves above the law of the land. They DO observe a Judaism founded in Poland in the 17th Cent. which has NOTHING to do with biblical Judaism or Torah. Their behaviour is often disgusting and their intolerance of others outside their community is unacceptable. They need to be in the workforce. They need to be drafted. They need to become productive citizens and not the LEECHES on our society they have become
40. Please, isn't rather ethiopian "ascendancy" than "descent"?
Nelson Fa ,   Brazil   (06.24.10)
Doesn't Ethiopian "descent" mean only that someone just made and left a lot of children there? That's how it works in most latin languages though many use, wrongly, "descent" to mean "ascendancy"
