Neither our stupid PM. Erdogan, nor the negativity in your media will manage to destroy 500+ year old friendship betwiin the Turks and all the Jewish people in the world. Dont think that every Turkish people agrees with our current PM. Most probably, his party will loose in next year`s elections. Then i hope we will be able to restore our relations

God bless you all! It is so nice to see that you appreciate the deep friendship that has been going on for centuries between Jews and Turks, and for 62 years between Turkey and Israel. Turkey is a wondeful country! It has the best food in the world and the friendliest people! I am so saddened to see that Erdogan is using the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to destroy this friendhip in order to gain power. But he will not succeed. The relationship between the two peoples is too deep to be destroyed so easily.

Really,i don't understand. We were friends for centuries,we always had good relations,Turkey and Israel were good allies,and look what happens now. It's so sad,I am Turkish and I am not interested in the problems between Israelis and Arabs,I don't want to involved in it. Jews are always welcome in my country,these days will pass I believe.

Jerusalem was never divided and was always a whole entity, just like Cyprus was before the Turkish invasion. The media calls E. Jerusalem as "Arab Jerusalem" giving the impression of a very old legacy in that part of town. The same media glosses over the fact that many Jews lived there too but were ethnically cleansed. But ethnically cleansed Jews don't sell papers anymore.

We are still friends. Te problem is in your current government and its supporters - and to some extent to the Israeli government's response a while ago humiliating an honorable Turkish diplomat. As you may remember all of this started 2 years ago at Davos when PM Erdogan decided to use his Kasimpasa language in his diplomacy. Israel showed patience and restraint until Dani Ayalon crossed the line. Israel has always been patient in its relations with Turkey. Even in 1972 when Israeli Ambassador Efraim Elrom was kidnapped and killed in Turkey, Israel did not freeze or end diplomatic relations with Turkey. When Turkish government will come back to its senses and Turkey will turn back to the path of Ataturk, the relations and friendship between Turkey and Israel will recover. However as long as Turkey is being governed from Kasimpasa or Fatih things can only get worse for the relations and Turkey. I only hope the best for all the ATATURKCU TURKIYE. While the voice of your PM Erdogan is coming louder then a 1000 VUVZELAS. He never stops talking. At the beginning he was yelling at the poor Turkish peasants telling them "ANANI DA AL GIT" or "take your mother and go" but since this did not pay off at the voting booths he satarted to blow his big VUVUZELA against Israel. Unfortunately this is bringing him votes so he keeps on blowing his big VUVUZELA constantly.
