getting closer to Iran. The West will make him pay big time!!! The countdown to his political career has started and Turkey unfortunately might get some collateral damage from it.

I saw this cartoon a few days ago. I don't believe that inth enext elections CHP will win big but it will be stronger to the extent that AKP can not form a government alone. It might even be a CHP + MHP and some smaller parties with the outside support of BDP. Time will show. Let's hope for the best.
34. The Turkish people deserve better. This Erdogan is a nuttter.

Greater Palestine? Can't help but to chuckle as I cannot think of one great achievement produced by your “great” nation except for the int'l scourge Arafat that introduced global terror. The world thanks you every time we have to remove our shoes at a Western airport. As for Khalil in Israel, at least he has his elected representatives within the democratically elected knesset. If you consider him to be a “donkey” for this, you might want to reflect on what your status would be in your “great” Hamastan. Your life is probably worth less than an Israeli donkey dropping.
36. #24, Winning or losing elections makes no difference
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (06.20.10)
Islamists will stay in power in Turkey by hook or by crook. Once Islamists get a hold of a country no peaceful means will remove them. If winning elections outright OK, if not they will cheat and steal elections. Everything is already set up for this. The military will not help either, it has been emasculated by retiring and arresting Kemalist officers and promoting loyalists of the current regime. This is not the same Turkey you were born in, maybe this is why you fail to understand Islamist mind and how they operate.
37. Israel, the U.S. and Turkey
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.20.10)
When Turkey thought it needed Israel as a way to maintain good relations with the United States, the alliance was valuable. But once it was clear that U.S. policy would accept the AK and was none too fond of Israel, that reason for the alliance dissolved. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced, "It's Israel that is the principal threat to regional peace." Not Iran, Israel. More at : http://xrl.us/bhorcb

If you feel that way about Istanbul, which was only taken by Turkey from the Greek Byzantines in 1454, you can surely understand why Israel, whose capital was in Jerusalem for thousands of years, under the dynasty of David, the Hasmoneans, and the Herodians, and only returned to Jewish sovereignty in 1967, wants to retain Jerusalem.
43. A reply to Matty Groves no 16
Yaffa ,   Israel   (06.20.10)
First of all the 1.5 million people were blockaded from both sides Israel as well Egypt. Hamas regime in Gaza was elected democratically. Soon after, they started to persecute all their opponents i.e. the PLO members. Persecution is a moderate word to express their actions against PLO members and Christians as well. Before the blockade the Hamas used to confiscate goods that entered Gaza for their own use. They used cement to build tunnels for smuggling weapons , they used metal parts to build rockets to launch on Israeli population, a thing that happened soon after the withdrawal of Israel from Gaza. Hamas in his convention has declared an eternal war on Israel, they said that they will never acknowledge the rights of Israel to exist, so don't expect my sympathy to the people of Gaza. After all Hitler was also elected democratically… does that mean that my people, that was the main target of his wicked intensions , should feel sympathy to the 'poor people' of Dresden that was heavily bombed by Allies? Well, feeling sympathy to the aggressor (in that case Gaza) is not my agenda , instead I feel sympathy to the real victims of radical Islam, i.e. the Kurds the Armenians the Darphour, east Timor and so on. You are talking about a capital punishment, where were people like you, so called ''peace activists'' when they throw people that belonged to PLO, through the windows to their death? did any of you stood for those miserable's? We both know the answer…
44. Ron B-You are quite correct-Turkey used Israel and US Jews

I can understand a lot of things. I don´t care about Jerusalem, even it is "shal za´av" for you. I have been to Jerusalem and I must say a horrible place. I know the importance of Jerusalem for Jews. They even dedicate a "Yom Yerushalayim" to it. Anyway! The best town in Israel is Tel Aviv. Keep Jerusalem, but don´t touch Tel Aviv. :) By the way! Istanbul was conquered in 1453. Not 1454 !! Kindets regards
