Preferably in immodest dress. Maybe she'll give us a private concert.
33. terrorists whether
Barney ,   USA   (06.20.10)
they stand up or sit down when they go to the bathroom are still terrorists and should be ready to suffer the consequences of terrorists. i guess their skirts are no longer large enough for hezzies and hamas to hide behind so they send the women out alone. wonderful society they have isn't it? meanwhile, nasrallah breathes from a tube under the ground or lives in opulence in iran while the people he proposes to support suffer for his agenda.

35. Israel needs to be more smarter and careful
Albert John ,   UK London.   (06.20.10)
Dear Netanyahu, This time be careful and whole eye is on israel and it should not be again in the headlines of all Newsprints and media. UN is the best way to handle this international issue make them face the ship. Israel must stay away from sending its army, you never know this time they might be with pistols. grenades or rocket launchers be prepared and never underestimate terror groups.
36. Fears women's convoy
Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (06.20.10)
I am Lebanese, post my comment please:) Sure, as i see IDF can show their muscles only against unarmed people and now they fear a women flotilla. Why IDF didnt show their muscles face to face with huzballah during 33 days of war in 2006. they just hided behind their warplanes that destroyed buildings and didnt destroy huzballah

39. what a shame...
jerusalem   (06.20.10)
if hizbulla has no affiliations with the passengers and the passengers have no affiliation with the group, why does wahbe have to seek their approval? what a stupid reply by them to her way of dress...no wonder some outside spectators of islam have a bad perspective of it... i am, embarrassed of this "muslim groups" comments. if they had such a problem with womens' dress, they should have said something long ago before the first floatilla from turkey set sail. it shows what they care about more...isnt wahbe a christian anyway??
40.  Hizbullah.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.20.10)
Like Hamas, Hizbullah entered Lebanese politics with the intention of taking over the country. It wishes to control Lebanon both to protect its military forces, and to advance its jihadist aim of spreading the Iranian revolution and destroying Israel. Like Hamas, Hizbullah's political empowerment has not moderated it. It has strengthened its military arm and made it politically impossible for its domestic rivals to oppose its war against Israel, its ties to Iran and Syria and its independent military force. 41. Virgin Mary?
Panda Bear ,   Omaha Nebraska   (06.20.10)
Okay, so what will happen if the Virgin Mary doesn't come through and instead sinks the ship Mariam? I guess the Jewish sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are going to have to save the women of the Mariam from drowning. Somehow I can't see the Virgin Mary blessing any event that would intentionaly lead to unG-dly behavior. It kinda smacks in the face of G-d, doesn't it? And why would a Jewish mother, the Virgin Mary, endorse any conduct that would annoy or attempt to belittle her Jewish children? Or did the Virgin Mary convert to another religion when she walked the earth? If calling on the Virgin Mary is somehow supposed to imply that the whole Christian and Muslim world is against the Jewish people in Israel regarding their Gaza policies then these ladies must be drinking too much or doing some type of hallucinogenic drugs. G-d only knows how many Christians are dancing and singing in their pews seeing this whole flotilla thing as just another event leading to their coming Messiah. These ladies from Lebanon need a reality check. But then again, they may just be secretly sailing in hopes that some male IDF commando will drop down out of the sky so they alas can meet a real man. One that they cannot out man. Maybe they are just looking for romance, something they know they couldn't find in Lebanon and this flotilla thing is just their way of escaping the Hezbollah bullies that are so against women and romance. After all, we all know the real reason Haifa Wehbe was denied a place on the ship. Hezbollah didn't want to give any excuse for her being able to gain positive recognition and power in Lebanon. It's a control issue between Hezbollah and Haifa Wehbe. Hezbollah is already fearful of her gaining more influence and power than them. After all she can shake her booty and all they can do is shake their fist and shout. Then if she found romance with a nice Israeli commando on the open sea, where would that leave the Hezbollah movement? With egg on their face, that's where?
42. ynet fails us with incomplete story
Elmer ,   USA   (06.20.10)
The story is about Haifa Wehbe's "nudity...and immodest dress." So, with the story, ynet runs a picture of some stupid ship. Why not include pictures of Wehbe's immodest dress so we can decide for ourselves? Do I have to go to Playboy for the news?
43. #19 Funny you should say that...
Paul ,   Trinidad   (06.20.10)
Just last year a jewish woman was arrested at the kotel for carrying a torah and wearing a prayer scarf. Apparently, to be jewish one must have a jewish mother but that mother is a second class citizen. How odd.
44. Toughest women in the world
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (06.20.10)
Israel has the toughest most beautiful women in the world and he thinks we're afraid of their burka clad women? Not in a million years.

Speak for yourself. It's quite interesting that Haifa is Shiite... Also, di you know that Siyassah is known to write up BS sensationalized stories?
49. Will Israel shoot the female only 'Virgin Mary'?

No!, Arab women compete with men.
51. #36 Send women to fight your wars
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.20.10)
While you keep Palestinians in refugee camps in Lebanon. Anyway, why do you need a flotilla to send aid to the Palestinians? Just send a check to UNWRA. Stop the charade. We're tired of floating the Palestinians while the Arab world sits back like offendis. Iran, Turkey and Lebanon have done squat for the Palestinians.
52. Mr. Groves, why do you hate Jews so much?
Audry   (06.20.10)
53. Kids will be next
Ben ,   Free world   (06.20.10)
The next "activist flotilla will be a " kids only fun cruise". These venomous slime balls will stop at nothing. Human life is worthless to them.Give them what they want, MARTYRDOM.
54. Lahoud cried like silly woman.
Janice Cohen ,   ירושלים   (06.20.10)
Nobody will ever forget that fearful little thing weeping before the eyes of the world, begging Israel to "please" stop the onslaught. Lebanese would do well to remember : He who cries last, cries best. Would Livni or Golda degrade themselves so?
55. Whatever
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (06.20.10)
I am afraid that whatever IDF will do, the muslim propaganda machine will turn it into victory, and the world media will buy it, again. Sad, but the world is that stupid. Change your stile, surprise them completely. Use your imagination.
56. Nothing new here.

Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (06.20.10)
You need to learn history, these palestinians became refugee in Lebanon after they were forced to leave their lands because of israel agression. So the problem of these refugees is caused by Israel.
58. BTW
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (06.20.10)
Btw, I am surprised that the leader of this gang is not on the ship. He is courageous, isn't he? In the land where courage (read: big mouth) counts so much, one would expect him to be on the boat. Or is he afraid to be on boat with so many women :-)))
59. Iranian Boats-Golden PR Offense Opportunity
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (06.20.10)
Women aboard make no difference. Let's reverse the usual scenario. While the IDF must maintain its usual wariness and preparedness (in case the Iranian ships plan to ambush our IDF boarding party, the ships may be suicide ships designed to blow up everything around it, etc.), official Israeli policy and our civilians can take a different approach. Official Israeli policy and whatever civilian protestor corps we can muster ashore in Ashdod port should officially welcome the Iranian "Peace Ship" to our Ashdod port with assurances that every peaceful and humanitarian item aboard will be delivered to Erez crossing where we are pressing Hamas to admit the aid to the people of Gaza. The Israeli gov't's recent relaxation of the definition of peaceful goods seems to make this idea even more viable. Let's have candies, flowers, brass bands, myriads of peace-niks with English placards--and a trainload of video and TV journalists--on shore in Ashdod ready to warmly welcome the Iranians when they arrive in Ashdod, with good food and non-alcoholic drink to welcome them. Invite and encourage Iranian "peaceniks" to join us at the Erez crossing in pressing Hamas to admit the aid to the people of Gaza--and that will enable the Iranians to witness, first-hand, that Israel is doing all we can to get the humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. Let's have more video cameras ready to see how the Iranians respond to our peaceful welcome overtures, how the Iranians help our Israeli protesters (we are getting protesters together aren't we???) ensure that the items are strictly peaceful and see with their own eyes that every item does get through the Erez crossing to the people of Gaza. And if they don't reciprocate our grand gestures of welcome, well... there'll be lots of TV coverage and videos for the media. Think outside the box, take the initiative: PR offensive unit take the field. So, you claim (hey, why did I expect this?), that the refugee problem is Israel's fault. While some historians might disagree with you (can you imagine, they are claiming that these refugees were called by Arab leaders who were attacking Israel to move away from their courageous armies) I want to ask you a question. If you and your brave leaders are so concerned about Palestinians, that you are even ready to start another war with Israel, why don't you give them basic human rights and let them out of your very well hidden camps, which are as closed and sealed as much as Gaza is?
