sas ,   israel   (06.25.10)
hi is in the wrong direction. his advisors are making big mistakes. he needs to meet with iran and improse pressure on him. great to talk to italy./france/etc. they mean nothing to the iraninans WAKE UP FAMILY SHAVIT. you have to get to the source of the conponies dealing NOW with iran and put pressure on them. what U R DOING NOW IS A waste of time and energy. you have to HIT the right poeple and where it hurts. it' sad, hard but very true.
2. Thank you Italy
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (06.25.10)
You're a real friend! By the way i have a lot italian contacts, they are all supportive and understand very good the Israeli situation. Viva Italia...
3. Israel downgrades the rights of its own captured soldiers.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.25.10)
By exchanging prisoners with the terrorist organizations as if they were law-abiding states, Israel can be seen as upgrading the status of the organizations’ unlawful combatants from terrorists and war criminals. Such exchanges afford them the same rights as lawful soldiers, without demanding from their leaders the reciprocal obligations. At the same time, Israel downgrades the rights of its own captured soldiers by overlooking the organizations’ systematic depravation of POW rights for Israeli soldiers under the Geneva Conventions. 4. Red Cross
Zichron   (06.25.10)
The visit by red cross or even medicine sans frontiers is a minimum for reconciliation of the palestinian arab and israeli jewish peoples after the revolts counter hatreds and killings of civilians .
5. Yeah, well pappa Shalit's ideology is what led to the ...
sk ,   USA   (06.25.10)
... the seizure of his son. This is what happens when Leftism infects a society. And why should Israel keep the Gaza blockade (not that there has been one, in reality) when poor Bnei Amalek (I'm sorry, "Palestinians") would suffer?
6. I Agree
Ben Eliazer ,   NY, USA   (06.25.10)
... if Europe's voices were not weak, they would have persuaded Israel to end its illegal occupation and free the 11.000 ABDUCTED Palestinians.
7. The EU is busy...
Robert   (06.25.10)
...tryin g to assimilate every nation into its tyrannical organizational framework to socially destroy the European peoples. This means appeasing Muslim nations because they, too, are to be included in the undifferentiated, identity-less 'world order' the powers behind the EU are trying to craft. This makes Israel an obstacle to those plans...and Shalit a non-issue for them.
8. ONLY Israel's Government
Mark of Lewiston ,   Lewiston USA   (06.25.10)
Only Israel's government can make a deal to bring Gilad Shalit home. But they don't want to do that. Complaining about the US and EU is a waste of time and effort. Neither the EU nor the US holds the people that Hamas wants, only the Israeli government does. Even after engineering Hamas into power and into Iran's arms, the US has no influence with them. George Bush didn't do it right. And now even urging Hamas, in a talkback, to release Shalit can land an American in jail for life.
9. EUROPES VOICE IS THAT OF AN HYPOCRITE !!!.
