Let Europe be busy with its own problems, budget deficit, EU and so on...When news from Israel becomes less, it might be a time to visit Europe. If maintaining good PR means agreeing that Israeli civilians and soldiers should be beaten up, shot, stabbed and killed then we should rightfully ask who needs to improve whose PR. How come the so many commenters here (antisemites excluded) make more more sense than Israeli government or the media. Why send Peres to Europe? You cannot do the same things over and over and expect different outcome. Only a peace process with the acceptance by the Arabs to be resettled in other Arab countries had a chance to bring peace to the region. Financial compensations would be the main reason for the Arabs to accept their resettlement. The best solution for the Arabs would be to leave the borders of “greater Israel,” so that Israel could then annex the West Bank and perhaps Gaza.
