1. Gays and Lesbians LOVE Israel too
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.28.10)
2. This is something I just can't feel proud of.
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.28.10)
Don't we have better things to publicize and export? Sigh, sigh ... I just can't get with it I guess.
3. BIG mistake
ProphetS ,   USA   (06.28.10)
BIG MISTAKE to associate the gay movement with the Israeli state. Most of the people in the USA DO CONDONE GAYS. This is evident by state after state voting in state Constitutional Amendments against "gay marriage." And it is growing---the majority of states have done this, every time it is presented to the people. Even California a liberal state voted this in this. No state has lost a vote yet on this Constitutional Amendment. Hawaii (a very liberal state) also voted against recognizing same sex marriage. WHY? Because USA abides by the Word of God that says the act is an ABOMINATION in God's eyes. Israel, just do not insult God...that is all I have to say on this matter. God will not be mocked.
4. Disturbing
ProphetS ,   USA   (06.28.10)
Disturbing to see the Israeli flag intermingling with the movement that Hashem calls an ABOMINATION. I'm afraid He will not me mocked...

9. An unholy alliance
Ezra ,   san diego ca   (06.28.10)
One must completely ignore HaShem and Israel's acceptance of the Torah, to think this behavior is Jewish. I for one, am not ready to trade the wisdom of Torah for a pound of flesh.
10. #4 your not G-D
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.28.10)
I don't remember reading in the Torah that G-D said being gay or homosexual is an abomination, all he said was a man must not lie with another man like a woman, this means having anal sex. Not all gay or homosexuals have anal sex so please don't put them all under one roof. And if they do its non of your business, just look after what you do and let the gay guys look after what they do and let Hashem make his own heshbon (sum it up) not you.
11. How a homosexual can be proud of his choice
Nora Tel Aviv   (06.28.10)
If you are a homosexual, sexually speaking, there is nothing to be proud of. But you can of course, be proud of being an Israeli. Now, is Israel proud of you? Prove it.
12. #5Rabbi
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.28.10)
Rabbi, they would not have to "hang their dirty laundry in public" if you did not speak against them all the time. As you know more and more religious Jews are coming out of the closet including Rabbi's, so except them with love, they are as Jewish as you and me.
13. #5 Rabbi cont.
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.28.10)
Rabbi can you say your a proud Israeli.
14. We are very proud of you
Mike Van Harris ,   Antwerp Belgium   (06.28.10)
Keep the good job going.
15. Ashamed of Orthodox Jews
nadav   (06.28.10)
I am ashamed that the Orthodox jews' talkbacks; you are preaching pure hatred against our Jewish brothers and sisters just because they were born Gay. If the Tanakh would have said Albinos are evil and should be killed, would you do then proceed to kill them (as they do in Africa)? Please separate Judaism from superstitions and foreign beliefs adopted from our goyish neighbors (ie Christians and Muslims). We are a smart people and should think for ourselves- and not by what fanatics of other religions believe! Also, the Tanakh was written by men over a span of hundreds of years within a an ancient cultural milieu. We now have science and medicine that clearly point to the fact that gays are born gay! Therefore gays are created by God and his will. Those who believe in God cannot hate his creations- period!
16. Proud Israeli ???????
Rabbi Younan Amran ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (06.28.10)
Its a shame, its discusting.
17. To Moshe #4 and Nadav # 15
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (06.28.10)
Neither you Moshe, nor you Nadav, have no idea about what the Torah says. Just read and you will see written ABOMINATION! About been born gay, what do you mean? Are you a third sex, are you not men nor women? You demand to be treated like equals, but that's just when it's good for you. To be gay is a choice, like smoking, now if you cannot quit smoking or refrain your instincts, then you are a very weak character my friend. Don't mistake things!
18. To #17
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.28.10)
Since you think that sexuality is a matter of choice, do you have an idea at what point in one's development one makes that choice? Is it before or after being born? I have several gay friends and they insist that they've always been “that way.” Considering they get all that preferential treatment, they probably woke up one morning and decided to be gay. Actually, I suspect that people turn gay when they get hit with pixie dust at the stroke of midnight when the moon is full. Reading your comments, I deeply regret having started to smoke, when I possibly should have chosen to be gay. Although I'm 72, do you think it's too late to turn my life around? On the other hand and remembering something about men not being allowed to kiss or look at a certain area of a woman's body, I've come to the conclusion that the Good Book was written and continues to be interpreted by a bunch of men, who were/are scared to death of anything female, and deserves the same treatment as all other lousy works of fiction.
19. #15 Orthodox Jews
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.29.10)
Don't put all Orthodox Jews under one banner as you can see from my talkbacks I speak on behalf of people with homosexual feeling and I am orthodox and as I said there are many orthodox Jews that have homosexual feelings. But to your second part in your talkback there is proof that people are not born gay but happens for many different reasons as early as three years old, but this is another subject.
20. dodgy phrasing
Andy Skipton ,   London, UK   (07.02.10)
er, I think the last sentence could be worded better - its not a tribute to the police raid iteself.
21. Israelis Marching in Gay-Parade
Avi ,   Palm Springs   (07.12.10)
If you are a Rabi, I am too, and i am not...
