1. American Aid To Egypt
NYC Girl   (06.28.10)
After reading interminable complaints about our aid to Israel (for which, by the way, we get more than we pay out), I as an American taxpayer want my government to stop the welfare checks to this racist anti-American and anti-Israeli Egyptian government. What the hell do we get from Egypt anyway? A promise to play nice with Israel? Bullshit.
2. Yes, the Muslim world is such an advocate
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.28.10)
for freedom of expression. There are hundred of fatwahs which encourage it. Now, what would the newspaper editor say if Ynet supported a cartoon of Muhammed blessing Adolph Hitler while wearing a Swastika?
3. ...but if anyone dares making fun of
christian berger ,   Evangelic Supporter   (06.28.10)
islam, beware, they will send suicide bombers!
4. choosing not to 'react.......
tiki ,   belgium   (06.28.10)
That's exactly the problem. It's called 'Jewish Getto mentality...."If we'll be quit and pretend it didn't happen, so it will go away". I't WON't. I thought that by the establishment of a Jewish state these things wouldn't happen anymore. Didnt anybody learn anything from the past? Keeping 'stumm and 'tolerating will only give 'power to those who want to hurt you! Israel must change these harm/hurtfull policies.
5. :: All it takes to solve the problem is:
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.28.10)
Israel needs to publish in all media a cartoon of their Moon Deity next to a swastika. Problem solved!
6. egyptian nazis
martin ,   uk   (06.28.10)
so why has israel not called in the gypo ambassador? other countries are quick to do that against israel. israel is much too soft diplomatically. come on israel, you are letting zahal down and yourselves. shame upon you
7. Swastika
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (06.28.10)
And i thought, that the Egyptians love the Swastica, given their collaboration with Hitler Germany, during ww 2.to associate Israel with a beloved Egyptian ally is very starge.
8. "Freedom of Expression"?
Reluctor Dominatus ,   USA   (06.28.10)
I would like to hear his take on the Danish cartoons and Van Gogh.
9. This cartoon speaks better of Israeli behavior this time
Tar ,   US   (06.28.10)
10. :: Cartoons
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.28.10)
The cartoon is actually quite tame compared to some other anti-Arab/anti-Israeli cartoons I have seen. http://alturl.com/fkai The cartoons of Prophet Muhammad can equally be seen as being tantamount to an anti-Muslim statement. I suppose the question is when does freedom of expression become a threat to another party?
11. proportion
Reno ,   Tel Aviv   (06.28.10)
These muslims are using the swastica to tie us to the regime that killed 6 million Jews in order to offend us... They fail to remember that 4 times as many non-jewish souls were lost on account of that symbol. The whole world should be ashamed that these "humanitarians" are allowed to get away with this blatant disrespect for lessons long stained in blood...
12. Egypt and Jordan are Arab Enemies
USA   (06.28.10)
Just like Lebanon, Syria, Soudi Arabia, etc, etc. Getting back the Sanai did not make Egyptian Arabs hate Jews any less. Israel is surrounded by hate filled enemies. Holding "peace" rallies in Tel Aviv and other places will not change that.
13. Egypt,like the pyramids,decrepit & crumbling
joe   (06.28.10)
Robert Haymond # 2; using the same "freedom of expression", as mohamed el-alfy stated with such great eloquence, I then can safely and accurately state that I don't see any difference between muhammad and hitler. When I see (or read) one, I always see (or read) the other. Same dogma, same ugliness, same depraved behavior, same repulsive attitude towards any one opposing their " raison d'etre ". The major difference between alfy and I,is that I have experienced Egypt and Nazism while his experience came only from cartoons. Like every mirage in the muslim world, in their eyes it's a " fait accompli "
14. :: More Cartoons
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.28.10)
I too am a Cartoon.
15. How would Egypt like this...
oxo ,   USA   (06.28.10)
If someone, in a cartoon made fun of their flag and substitututed Ms. Piggy for the Eagle of Saladin?
16. Kudos
US Jew   (06.29.10)
Well put, lady. Well put!
17. # 7 Swastika
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (06.29.10)
I meant,very strange.
18. matty those weren't done by jews
ghostq   (06.29.10)
don't blame jews from Muslim bigotry.
19. Egypt cannot be trusted.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (06.29.10)
Egypt is a one sided Arab supporter and should not be trusted. Even today, after all these years of “peace”, Egypt is still THE WORLD CENTER OF ANTI-ISRAELI INCITEMENT. It has huge militairy expenses while its generals admit that the enemy is Israel. There is no doubt that in case of a general conflict in the Middle-East Egypt will fight in the camp of the enemies of Israel. Differences between Israel and Arabs cannot be brokered by an Arab country. The solution to the Middle-East conflict is described at : http://xrl.us/bi5c8
