Leave through Egypt
2. This is why Egypt has a gate
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (06.29.10)
This is not that Israel won't let him out, Egypt can do that. This is Israel won't let him out and then put him in Israeli hospital, heal him, and pay for it. Let him got to Cairo or Amman for the operation.
3. sick gazans
sas ,   israel   (06.29.10)
and what about the childen operated for free in WOLFSON HOSPITAL??? (SACH) why do they disregard FACTS??????????
4. OF COURSE ONLY IN LIFE-THREATENING CASES!!
Christian Berger ,   Evangelic Supporter   (06.29.10)
WHAT ARE WE HERE??? A VACATION RESORT??!! WOW, STUPIDITY SPREADS EVEN FASTER NOW...
5. NO gazastanis in Israeli hospitals!
A ,   Belgium   (06.29.10)
Gazans shouldn't be treated in Israel for anything, or even allowed into Israel for anything. They have hospitals, even though they shoot mortars from them, and their brave leaders hide underneath them. Let them go to Egypt or any of the other 21 moslem countries for high quality medical treatment.
6. Human Rights Organizations
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (06.29.10)
We are all sick and bored with this so called "Human Rights Org."!!! They act systematically against and however they are allowed not only to exist but also to publish their rubbish. Best way to fight them is that Israeli press be more pro Israel and ignore whatever this "people" do! You will get the thanks of nearly 7 million Israelis!
7. where r the human rights orgs when the jews
ghostq   (06.29.10)
in Kyrgyzstan need serious help, didn't hear them much active when it comes to china firing live bullets into the their areas. sound very distorted, especially when these jews lives r at stake.
8. Good account
sam ,   colorado   (06.29.10)
Israel refuses to let him leave the Strip for a medical procedure in Jerusalem In order to facilitate expulsion him out of the country a Good account
9. 10 Kids, No wonder he has a back poroblem
(06.29.10)
You have to ask yourself why he has 10 kids. You have to ask yourself how he has given his family a better life. You have to ask yourself what the UN has been doing in Gaza for the past 60years. 10 Kids, and he expects the Israelis to support his inablity to keep his pecker in his pants. Total irresposibility from all the parties. No sympathy from me. No sympathy for the Human Rights Group who are to scared to promote condoms and family planning.
10. and Guilad??
martine ,   ashdod   (06.29.10)
what about Guilad who was not allowed to receive the Red Cross or even a letter? Human organisations don't worry about that young man that is living a living hell with barbarians? I have no pity for the palestinians, they receive enough from us! if they need to be healed they must go to egypte, or jordan or saudi arabia!! there are amazing number of countries that can receive and heal them. Oh I forgot the best : united states of america! obama will do it with a great pleasure!!!
11. a good pic
sam ,   colorado   (06.29.10)
it approved more than 9,000 cases a year,a good pic for Israel where the Human rights organizations were when Israel has killed more than 1,500 the people in Gaza?
12. #5 agree, and disagree
Salma ,   Palestine   (06.29.10)
Yes, we have hospitals, skilled doctors who did their duty in unacceptable working conditions, they were able to save the lives of many people, but how can this process be continued at a time "Israel" continue impeding the entry of equipment and medical devices to the Gaza Strip since 2009until today they impede the entry of medical equipment, medicine and medical devices to Gaza from the West Bank and abroad, such as CT. scanners, heart monitors and other vital devices ,this threatens the lives of thousands of patients of different ages in Gaza We don't have anything against most of the "Israeli" doctors, who proved many times that they are in hospitals, doctors and only doctors, for those all due respect, we are talking about the "Israeli "government
13. :: So touching
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (06.29.10)
Ahh such an outpouring of humane sentiments from the Ynuts towards seriously ill civilians is really touching I guess this is what people mean when they talk about the Jewish Spirit. “Love for human beings must be alive in one’s heart and soul; the love for every person separately and for all nations. This love must be applied to all persons, in spite of different views, religions, and faiths”. “Narrowness that prompts one to view anything beyond the borders of Israel as ugly and defiled is among the most terribly dark traits that prompt the total destruction of positive spirituality”. Hmm, I guess that little PR exercise in Haiti only warmed the cockles of the Israeli heart for so long.
14. Sorry Salma - go complain to Hanniya
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (06.29.10)
You want to shoot rockets at us, set off suicide bombs on our buses, AND have our hospitals treat you? Like other people said, why don't you go to Egypt instead of the those evil Zionists? And, of course, if you have any complaints you can take them to the Islamic Republic of Iran's official representative in Gaza - your prime minister. Salma - you either want peace or your. You have a democratically elected government whose official policy is war. Live with it and accept martyrdom, or do something to change it and move towards peace.
15. This report fails to mention Hamas controls the list of ...
EST ,   Miami USA   (06.29.10)
Palestinians allowed to seek permission to leave Gaza. That is number one. Next, this report fails to mention that Hamas threatened under pain of death those Palestinians who seek medical care in Israeli facilities built to take care of Palestinians...as in the last war....This report and those claiming to speak on behalf of very sick Palestinians DO NOT MAKE SENSE when you factor in those other tiny details I just mentioned...There is a huge security risk to Israel from these Hamas approved and controlled people coming into the State of Israel under the guise of seeking medical treatment. Finally, though this makes too much sense for idiots that still believe the Palestinians are peace loving neighbors....the people of Gaza, so called modern Palestinians, elected a government that has vowed to do away with every single Jew in the State of Israel and the State of Israel itself...in essence there is a declared war between Palestinians and Israel...and the world expects Israel to ower the defenses of true Israeli citizens to give free top medical care to its' enemies???? Where in the world do they impose "moral codes" like those other than in Israel???This report and those who proclaim things like wht's written in it have a fishy smell....rotten fish at that!
16.  All Referals to Israel : Via Hamas ( & Quid Pro quo)
Roland Seener ,   London England   (06.29.10)
17. I think Egypt has hospitals too! Go there.
Jason   (06.29.10)
18. To Sam, 11, you forgot to mention over 1000 of them terroris
EST ,   Miami USA   (06.29.10)
the rest collateral damage...sorry, but such things exist in war. This was not a war Israel began ...In addition, those 400+ people that died as collateral damage were many times less than the 3000+ Americans Muslim terrorits killed in 9/11. So where were you and your brothers when that happened? Did we hear your voices or were you out in the streets throwing candy to celebrate your brothers' accomplishments???
19. Its not leaving the strip; its entering israel
Izzyd   (06.29.10)
Israel can decide who comes into the state. Israel can decide arbitrarily who comes into the state. If israel is boycotting "behaving like a good neighboor" to the gaza strip citizens untill gilad shalit is free then that is a decision that is entirley within israels right to make. Its not about letting him leave, its about letting him in and to those who think taking that position makes us "haters", get educated, learn your history, learn some law. Your perception is altered for the better when you educate yourself.
20. Gilad Shalit is also not allowed to leave Gaza
(06.29.10)
so pleazzzzzzzz shut the #$@$@ up talking about ethical codes.
21. Well ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.29.10)
there's always Egypt. Have they no doctors? Have they no hospitals? Have they no border crossings? Have they no compassion for their brother Arabs? If not, why not? And how is it Israel's fault?
22. we "liberated" Gaza
david cohen   (06.29.10)
go to EGYPT!
23. what if an Israeli had this problem & no money for treatment
zionist forever   (06.29.10)
Its Israeli taxpayers that pay for Gazans wanting hospital treatment and they take up hospital beds which are there for Israelis. I have to pay taxes and I have to pay for health insurance for if there ever comes a time when I need medical treatment. If your Israeli you pay through your medical treatment. If your fro Gaza its free of charge .. a little bonus that comes from my taxes. Gaza has hospitals, they might not be as well equipped as Israeli ones but there are hospitals and Israel lets medicines into Gaza. The palestinians want independence but they still come running to us when they want something they don't have. It seems that human rightist organizations seem to think that if somebody wants medical treatment in Israel paid for or not its obligated to give it. If a country like America refused to give a non American permission to enter the country and have treatment that would be accepted as a country exercising its rights. I feel very sorry for that palestinian and others with problems like his but Israel is not obligated to give him that treatment.
24. #14, Dear, English read from left-to-right.!
Salma ,   Palestine   (06.29.10)
Now go and read my comment again, would not find one sentence that says I want your hospitals treat us ! Remember from from left to right :)
25. Israel's issues
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.29.10)
go well beyond semantic. As long as Hamas does not have to face the ire of the Palestinian people because of untreated medical conditions, they get to remain in their evil positions of power. Why should Israel make life simpler for Hamas by removing something that might actually help to cause the Palestinian people in Gaza to rise up against their cruel and inhuman masters? It's terrible to say, but Hamas is by far the greater evil than denying someone whose condition is NOT life-threatening medical treatment in Israel. Especially if that person and his or her family's bona fides as non-terror supporters has not been determined. It is important that the ordinary Gazan understand that the absence of medical treatment for his or her condition is due solely to Hamas and to the failure of his or her brother Arabs throughout the Arab world to offer their hospitals as a place for treatment. Israel will treat any needy Jew, anywhere in the world. Let the Arabs look after their own. Absent that, let the Gazans rise up and oust their inhumane leadership. Either works for me.
26. 2
zionist forever   (06.29.10)
The reason they can't go to Cairo or Amman is because Egyptian & Jordanian governments would object to taxpayer money and limited hospital beds being used by every palestinian who goes along needing treatment.
27. Injured While Voting For Hamass
Yoni   (06.29.10)
Nearly all voting age Gazans voted for Hamass in record turnout numbers. They don't believe in the Zionist entity until they are in trouble. Care for a little bread and cheese to go with that whine?
28. Whats wrong with their own Hospitals? Oh Hang on.
Vicky ,   Ashkelon Israel   (06.29.10)
The've turned it into a torture chamber!
29. #13, missed where Haiti was firing rockets
Danny   (06.29.10)
at Israel. I am off to get treatment now in Syria and Saudi because as the highly ethical people they are they will treat me regardless.
30. Your hypocrites! What about Gilad Shalit?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (06.29.10)
You talk about ethics? What is unethical, more disgusting and a carbuncle on the butt of human dignity than the abduction of a soldier from ISRAELI territory and holding him without even allowing the Red Cross to visit him? The Gazans can go to hell until Gilad is home and Netanyahu should be called to account for easing the blockade. Yes everyone is entitled to basic human rights unless, of course, you are Jewish!
