Ehud the criminal Olmert has yet to be arrested. Sheikh Saleh of the Ilsmaic Movement gets special treatment and a pass for incitement . Israel's judges are evil and deserve no respect. Dorit Beinish, shame on you !

Cohen threw a shoe at Beinish, broke her glasses and cut her lip. For that he gets 3 years inside. A policeman who is sworn to uphold the law attacks an innocent civilian, stamps on his head and rips his nostrils, gets only 6 months suspended sentence. Another policeman attacks a man filming police, steals his camera, brutally beating him and gets only 4 months suspended sentence. Everyone is equal before the law, but some are more equal.
5. In England he'd get an ASBO

.. a certificate bearing his name stating basically that he's been a naughty boy and is not to do it again! This might be a little soft, but 3 years in prison? what is wrong with those arrogant and cruel Israeli judges. A palestinian terrorist wouldn't get such a heavy sentence unless he actually managed, god forbid, to kill someone. The sentence is draconian
6. The sentence isn't harsh when seen

from the purview of the Court. The perpetrator's actions were a direct assault not only on the judge but the Court system itself. The Court always take such threats seriously, not only in Israel but in the USA and Canada. If the Court isn't respected and isn't allowed to carry out its functions, the Court will be destroyed or otherwise cease to function. The judge, in this case, is an essential functionary of the Court. Without a judiciary free to function without intimidation, a democratic state cannot survive. This is the crime which Cohen committed. His was not only an objective assault on a person but a symbolic crime against the judicial system. In my estimation, a three-year sentence is a lenient one.
7. Outrageous!!!

There is something seriously wrong with the judges in the court system. Who chooses them?

Could someone publish or send the sentance field by Judge Philip Marcus in 2006 against Pini Cohen so each could see the lack of equity of judge Marcus
