1. Mitchell - Abbas
Nell   (07.01.10)
I name Mitchel the "Grasshopper". He hops from one jet to the other between Washington and Gaza. Where exactly does his plane land? or does he permanently live in Gaza.... perhaps at luxury Roots. Ahh... to get paid so much money for having little chit chats! Even I would do it if I got away with it! Alas, I am not Mitchell.
2. As always the palestinians
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (07.01.10)
play the victim. How many offers were made to the palestinians by Yitzhak Rabin and Barak, the palestinians had refused all the offers, then they go and play the victims. How could you set limits and make statements before even think about negotiating ? this is not negotiating, this is do what we want or else! Anyway these people aren't interested in peace or to resolve the disputes with Israel, they have declared many times that they will continue the struggle to liberate every inch of "Palestine", for them that means Haifa, Tel Aviv (the cities of Israel). Once Arafat was asked, how come he was talking to the Israelis for peace, he replied that this was just temporary before the palestinian would gain the necessary power to beat Israel. So Abbas we all know your games and lies, Do not play the victim. The palestinian emblem is very clear evidence of what their intentions are, this emblem includes all of Israel, not the west bank and gaza. 3. always the 242
vitenberg ,   saint-mandé FRANCE   (07.01.10)
The resolution 242 in english, the lonely valid, with Israel's written signature, put borders issue and security on the table. In English we read "of territories" and not "of the territories". Borders issue and security are the two faces of the same problem, The cease fire line in 1949 is neither an armistice line nor a peace treaty line and has no religious significance except for ill brains. But the political establisment, right and left don't dare telling this elementary truth. Oslo was not a democratic way and Abbas knows he can try the same and impose final solution with indirects talks. Jacques Vitenberg
4. Abbas and his never-ending preconditions.
Aliza ,   USA   (07.01.10)
Abbas wants the sun and the moon before he's willing to sit in a room with Israeli leaders to negotiate face to face. Obama has given him the impression that he can get away with this (and get everything he wants in the end), especially when Obama keeps blaming Israel for Abbas being unwilling to engage in direct talks. Israel, tell Abbas to go retire as he keeps saying he wants to do. He can take the entire PLO with him (and Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PFLP, DFLP, etc). Good riddance.
5. IS THIS A PHOTO OF RAMALLAH RETIREMENT HOME?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne,   (07.01.10)
I've never seen photos of Arafat and Abbas and a PA flag in a retirement home before, but if they make Michell and Abbas feel at home, very nice. The rest looks authentic, and that's just where these two should be;in a retirement home where they cannot do much harm. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
6. Israel has absolutely no reason to talk to the PA.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.01.10)
There is no good time for Israel to talk to the P.A. The time for talks is when there is something to talk about. The P.A. wants to steal Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria from Israel. It wants to trim our already slim waist to just 8 miles. It wants to inundate our tiny Homeland with hostile Arabs. It wants all Israel's cities and towns within range of it's terrorist rockets. What on earth does Israel have to say to these monsters? There is absolutely no reason to talk to the P.A. Israel needs to resoundingly defeat the P.A. and drive it from our land forever.
7. ISRAEL, THESE ARE YOUR ENEMIES!!!
David ,   USA, exile   (07.02.10)
When are you going to grow a set and eliminate those all around you as identified in Psalm 83? Forget the world opinion. They hate you. There is a God in Israel. Call on Him and take up the banner of David and go out and clean house and get this thing over with!
8. SAVED ALIVE
zichron   (07.02.10)
tHE BIG PROBLEM IS THAT THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE HAVE THRIVED IN NUMBERS WHILST ALLOWING NAZI EUROPE TO MURDER THE JEWS AND A JUSTICE SEVERE AND TARGETTED MUST BE FOUND WITHOUT ANY CRIMES OF WAR AND HARM TO NONCOMBATANT CIVILIANS ESPECIALLY WOMEN CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY.
9. # 2
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.02.10)
Johnny we know Abbas is not serious about negotiations. We also know that he wants all of Israel, which he will never get. We dont need to talk to Abbas, he needs to talk to us.
10. How can peace become a reality
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.02.10)
Israel educates its young to pursue peace. Some Israelis have made this their utmost goal, even to the point of ignoring -- or even blinding themselves -- to the Middle Eastern reality in which they live. The Palestinians, on the other hand, have done the exact opposite. Yet there is a solution : http://xrl.us/bhp3ki
