31. Hamas
daniel ,   Rimonim   (07.03.10)
If Hamas wouldn't steal the food, medicine and medical supplies that enter Gaza, none of this would happen.
32. Daniel you got it wrong, what stealing
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (07.03.10)
How can hamas steal food if we won’t let food into gaza in the first place? How can they steal stuff if we don’t give them stuff? Think before you post other wise you just look stupid.
33. :: Don't worry Daniel, every word of yours is pure truth
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (07.03.10)
As soon as the daily free food convoys enter Gaza, the Hamas criminal Mafia enterprise divert them to their own private warehouses. Later on they sell it in the Gaza open markets and shops for a price to enrich themselves. Many starving nations in the world would like to have 10% of what Israel feeds for free the spoiled Hejaz Arabs illegally residing in Gaza.

41. #20 More fake fatality figures from Matty
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.04.10)
Hamas was obviously not concerned about Palestinian children when they fired 8000+ kassams and bombs at Israeli children and waited for the missiles to fire back at Gaza. If Hamas is so concerned about homeless Palestinians, why does Hamas bulldoze Palestinian homes and leave more Palestinians homeless? And why does Hamas still continue to fire kassams at Israel? They need to justify their existence even if their actions harm Palestinians. Someone should tell Matty Palestinians write their own school books. They even have a Minister of Education. They could also grow their own food and manufacture their own clothes. And if they need building materials, they could buy the materials from Israel. But no, they would rather pound sand, boycott Israeli products and create laws forbidding Palestinians access to their only viable labor market. Aided by apologists for terror like Matty, the Palestinians continue on their self-destructive, dependent path marching backward.

PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE Australia   (07.05.10)
then many Arab countries? No study needed to show Qassams landing on Israelis damages their health The Lancet became politicised years ago
45. Salma and Matty - why do you avoid the root cause?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.05.10)
Hamas is the root cause of the problem. There is a blockade because of the Hamas policies of war crimes (again, Goldstone's conclusion, not mine). It is clear that the two of you totally avoid addressing the Hamas problem, because even though Hamas may be "the democratically elected government", it is indeed a government that carries out war crimes. By your standards, Haniya and Meshal should be put trial for war crimes. Hamas declares it will "never" make peace with Israel, only wants war, and yet you say Israel should lift the blockade and allow the free flow of weapons into Gaza? We're obviously not willing roll over and let Hamas slit our throats, so no, for now if the Gaza kids want toys and vitamin pills they should turn to Hamas. Maybe Hamas should stop smuggling in rockets and instead smuggle in vitamin pills for kids. Maybe then we would see that they cared for the children of Gaza. For now, Salma and Matty, we Israelis see very clearly that Hamas wants only war. We do not accept that and will not give them the opportunity. If they insist, we will resist with DISPROPORTIONATE FORCE - because that is what war is all about. Again - go cry to Hamas, then tell us what they tell you.
46. when accused of being disproportionate
Ilana   (07.06.10)
just remember that this insinuates that protortionate force is fine, which means that we are correct in responding in the world's eyes. Proportion is subjective and should be based on past responses taken in the world at similar-ish incidences. If this is is done, then our force was disproportionate in that itwas too weak.
