1. PM -Obama talks
DT ,   TA Israel   (07.02.10)
On Netanyahu's performance to date the Regions future will be determined by Obama and certainly not Netanyahu. If we had a Leader and not a whimp things would be different

Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.02.10)
No Jewish leader has the right to abandon any part of the Land of Israel. The Land of Israel rightfully belongs only to the Jewish people. The notion of two states for two peoples in the land of Israel cannot be accepted as the land of Israel rightfully belongs only to the Jewish people and to divide our country would be an historic injustice. As it is well known, the conflict between Israel and the Arabs is not a territorial one. If it were a territorial conflict, it could have been solved a long time ago, by territorial concessions, which have been offered a number of times to the Arabs, and rejected every timeā€¦ As to the legitimate rights of the Jewish people (3 parts): http://xrl.us/berwte
3. IfI was Lieberman I would melt any of Netanyahu's intentions
Keren ,   IL-BR   (07.02.10)
untill record were set very straight. Lieberman has power to do it,and he must use his power. I even don't know if I agree or not with Lieberman's positions, but the trampling in his head that was done by Netaniahu, when enganging in conversationswith Turkey and letting him in the dark, is just impossible to bear.

SINGER ,   SINGAPORE   (07.02.10)
MUST LISTEN CAREFULLY N FOLLOW HIS ADVICE.
7. For Obama, the region would be fine if Israel didn't exist
Sam ,   New Jersey, U.S.A.   (07.02.10)
This is, after all, the message he has been conveying to the Jewish people for more than a year and a half after nearly 80% of them helped him to become the U.S. President. This is how grateful our President is to the national home of the Jewish people. This is what Obama has been expressing in word and deed, having humiliated Israel's elected officials and questioned the very right of Israel's right to exist.
8. no 4

hebrew prophet ,   israel   (07.02.10)
Barack Hussein Obama desperately needs the Jewish vote if he wants to stay in his White House a while longer ,yes Singer you,re correct but will he listen and take Bibi,s advice ,time will tell ,inshallah?
11. Is Obama God ?
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.02.10)
Talk about Israel's future ? Israel's Prime Minister makes his religious pilgrimage to Washington for his next set of orders and determine what other painful sacrifices Israel must make to appease the unappeasable jihadists. What stupidity and arrogance to think that Obama is in any position to bring any peace or security to Israel.. Only God is the one who secures Israel's future NOT the US !!!! http://averyheavystone.blogspot.com/2010/07/everything-is-going-to-change.html
12. If he can hand-over Hebron,he is not the man for the job !
Roland Seener ,   Roland Seener   (07.02.10)
13. who are able?
sam ,   colorado   (07.02.10)
Neither Obama nor Netanyahu will not be able to decide the future of the region only the indigenous peoples who are able to shape the future of the region
14. If Obama continues with his hostility to Israel, his Charm
Lynne J. Aaron ,   Phil. PA, U.S.A.   (07.02.10)
Offensive will end up being a hollow form of a statement and he will be faced with a Jewish community that is hostile to him. Enough is enough, in other words. So, behave yourself Mr. President!
15. Israel wake up!
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.02.10)
Every threat that has been made has come about when Israel made concessions, not because it refused to. Every time Israel has chosen the high road, its enemies have ambushed it from the low road. It's past time to wake up and start learning some lessons. More at : http://xrl.us/bhovpj
16. Direct vs. Indirect talks
James ,   Australia   (07.02.10)
Funny, if there has been no progress in indirect talks, why would it be any different in direct talks? Really, what is the difference between the two other than an American presence? I believe Israel only seeks direct talks as a PR ploy. Israel has no serious interest in peace or ending its occupation and domination of the Palestinians.
17. US options,2 state solution or fully arm Arab countries
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (07.02.10)
Many in Israel are only looking at short term gains with settlements but if Israel is not longer a state want will that matter. Once US leave Iraq then likely it will ally with Iran, then US will have to arm Arabs or keep spending money to keep troops there. US is currently $13T in debt from last 10yrs alone.
18. Barakah Hussein Obama
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (07.02.10)
After the November elections, he will be a lame duck (or impeached). So why waste time and talk with him?
19. If This Is True
Dan ,   USA   (07.03.10)
Israel's long term chances of survival has been cut in half. Obama is a Muslim, a Jew hater ( He sat in Reverand Wright's church for 19 years ) and will do everything in his power to weaken Israel for the fight ahead. I don't believe Bibi is up to the task of standing up to Obama, even though Obama's authority will be very much weakened after the Nov.2, 2010 election. Frankly I always thought Bibi was stronger than he is turning out to be. How sad for Israel and her supporters in the U.S.
20. Israel
azbob ,   carefree, usa   (07.03.10)
Oh, has "god" been sending Israel over 3 mil a year plus weapons and cover all these years? I would have sworn it was the US. And the Congress of the same country, not god, has been bought and paid for by AIPAC, the Council of Presidents, ADL, etc. and all their money. Without the US there would be no Israel. God takes no part in this discussion.....uh, make that this delusion.
