The correct response to terrorism is military not feel-good sentimental crap. The people demanding to pay any price for Shalit's release are air-heads who think life is some kind of reality TV show. I'm willing to pay a high price in resolving this tragedy but it doesn't involve making deals with thugs & releasing murderers. As a matter of fact, there is no limit to what I think we should do to force Shalit's release, Hamas must be denied any victory at all costs.
2. Haber - get out of the box --> blackout of Hamas prisoners
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.05.10)
Haber was in the old system for too long and can't think outside of the box. Eitan - get with it! Demand that Bibi take control and immediately place a total blackout on all Hamas and Jihad prisoners! No visits, no calls, no lawyers, no letters, no nothing. Total blackout. And tell the Hamas families they may hear something if Hamas allows the Red Cross to visit Shalit - until then, nada. Come on, Haber, start thinking like you want to solve the situation!

You are 100% correct. The only reason Hamas have the audacity to demand the release of 1000 MFs for one israeli soldier is because they learned that thanks to selfish people like Amos Shalit they can extort any Israeli government for whatever they want. On this day Mr. Netanyahoo must remember the ultimate price his brother Yoni paid 34 years ago without hesitation to save dozens of Israeli capives. He should be strong enough to tell Amos Shalit with due respect to get his head out of his butt and get real! Same goes for the other thousands of idiot sabeteurs who do Hamas cynical bidding with their stupid march on Shalit's behalf!!
