his wife is right.
2. Decision making is not an art, only common sens
joe   (07.05.10)
Rehash of history, no matter how ugly, won't change facts and realities. The only reality was expressed by Ben Aroya " The Govt helplessness and the fact that hamas is toying with us ", is to the point. I would only add. harshly perhaps, " we are like marionettes dangling at the end of strings, manipulates at the whim of a hamas & co., and that we are incapable of disentangle ourself from this 'Guignol'
3. Shortage in Gaza.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.05.10)
Israel has permitted importation, in the past few months alone, of nearly 3,000 tons of clothing and shoes; more than 1,000 tons of medicine and medical equipment; 155 tons of food, and 17 million liters of diesel fuel. In recent years Gaza and the West Bank have become the world's largest per capita destination for international aid. What is required now is a means to get humanitarian supplies to Gaza that does not conflict with Israel's legitimate security needs. What is the real shortage in Gaza ? Just consult : http://xrl.us/bhpyrj
4. Disgrace
Steve   (07.05.10)
It is a disgrace that a brutal murderer like al-Sayad is living and breathing. He should have been executed within hours of having been found guilty. It is a disgrace Israel has no death penatly for these murderers.
5. To # 3 Ron B

Just imagine how many truly starving people in Africa that would feed. I bet that it would save the millions that are once again TRULY STARVING in Africa at least another day and would be such a nice treat for thse children that have never seen toys or flat sreen tv's and video games or even a water tap or toilet. Need I Say More
6. Impose total blackout on all Hamas prisoners
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.05.10)
Demand that Bibi stand up and show leadership. He should immediately declare the imposition of the exact same conditions Hamas is giving Gilad Shalit: -total ban on all visits -total ban on all communications -total ban on release from cells for exercise/meals In addition to the immediate total ban, Netanyahu should order the removal of all Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners to different secret locations. Bibi shouldn't give a damn if this is against international law. His answer should be that if the world is so concerned, he's willing to be arrested and stand trial - but only after Haniya, Meshal and Nasrallah are arrested first for the exact same crimes. The international community is afraid to hold the Muslims accountable to international law. If international law is not good enough for the Muslims, then we'll ignore it too.
7. WE REMEMBER AVI BECKERMAN - HIS VICTIM
stude ham   (07.05.10)
murdered during the seder ... and before his imminent wedding... to this day avi's mother grieves her son and remains unconsoled. this murderer cannot be let go. he must rot in hell.
8. let him rot and under conditions similar to shalits

9. share this article on facebook
Ilana   (07.05.10)
show the world what kind of murderers Gaza produces. If he wants to resist "occupation" (ha!) he can do it by killing his own kids and babies, not ours. Too bad we can't send him to be put in trial in a place like Iran...
10. absurd
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.06.10)
Why should this killer be allowed to appeal ? he has to rot in jail. Great pity Israel does'nt have the death penalty.
11. Abbas al-Sayad must b included in any deal 4 shalit release
HAMAS ,   GAZA   (07.06.10)
12. the arabs
michael pielet ,   boca usa   (07.06.10)
For the arabs occupation simply means, no Jewish Tel Aviv, and no Jewish sovereignity in the middle east. It is important for us to understand that this terrorist murderer views himself, and the arabs view him as a freedom fighter. Question, how do we respond to this reality?
13. to #11 hahaha I could use a good laugh

14. Note the absence of Talkbackers like Salma
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.06.10)
Obviously, the anti-Israel pro-Palestinian talkbackers are avoiding this article. They want to avoid saying anything about a war crime committed by Palestinians. They also don't want to get cornered about official Palestinian policy of committing war crimes and targeting Israeli civilians. The world continues to ignore the fact that Hamas and Fatah leaders must be arrested and stand trial for war crimes. Abbas al-Sayad was sent by Hamas, and the government of Gaza supports him and endorsed his war crimes.

Good point Brian about Palestinian propagandists like Salma ,but as the saying goes, the truth really hurts ,so we won,t be expecting any comment on this point from you know who?
16. Brian-on Salma and the sort
Ilana   (07.06.10)
Of course! You could perhpas take thir opinions seriously if they were able to distinquish right from wrong universally, but solong as it bashes Israel, they are there, and when "their side" gets a bashing they either justify or shut up. This is pure proof that they are anti israel/jews no matter what. If I read, "Wow, I really cannot accept someone blowing up kids and civilians at a religious festivity, no matter what and with no warning..." Even celebrating death is acceptable. How can one possibly rejoice at a death??? I would only read the same old-"you killed 1,200 babies blah blah blah", whereby refusing to see the most crucial differences, grossly exaggerating, twisting info and even outright lies to push their ideology, Any means is justifiable to get the end. And then when Israel uses justifiable means, they use it and twist it and spit it out in a stream of filthy venom.
