Why so much "gay" news in ynet? Just wondering.
4. Gay Parade in Jerusalem
tatyana ,   USA   (07.06.10)
A gay parade does not belong in the holy city. That is disrespectful, especially since we all know the conduct displayed in gay parades. Gay parades are awesome in cities like Tel Aviv, they are a lot of fun and a great show to watch, but does not belong in Jerusalem. Now if it was a protest, a walk to remember of what occured than that's a different story. I hope the gay community behaves themselves. A time and place for everything.

Instead of striving to be "normal" members of society who live life, the GLBT community insists on inconveniencing the residents of Jerusalem (missed work, missed appointments) by gathering in a way guaranteed to cause endless traffic jams. This inconvenience is not to protest some injustice but to tell everyone what no body cares about: their sexual preferences.
6. #4 Tatyana,do you have any holy city in USA?

Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (07.06.10)
The pride parade in Tel Aviv , a big extravagant show , to this in Jerusalem , a much more "modest clothes" one .
10. Forgiveness?
Ariel ,   Kalispell MT USA   (07.06.10)
Looks like G-d will have to repent for Sodom & Gamora!
11. Why not in Ramallah? Gay + Palestine!
Nethanel ,   Jerusalem   (07.06.10)
Gays in Palestine should also have their own gay pride parade. next location could be Mekka, only fair after Jerusalem. What, this would be offensive to Muslim culture?? Hm, you are right, so let's do it in (West)-Jerusalem, only religious Jews would be offended....

Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (07.06.10)
Nobody has to be offended when Israelis parade for their rights in their own Capital . All justice loving people should support them .
13. Gay ? Fact. Why parade? Why proud ?
Nora Tel Aviv   (07.06.10)
Your parade is simply unnecessary, It looks like an invitation to a circus. As for your pride, yes your unvaluable pride, it shows a twist of mind that no propagada minister could even imagine.

No wonder Turkey is insisting that Israel apologize for the flotilla incident. When Erdogan sees big gay parades in Israel he probably thinks there are a lot of gay politicians in Israel and he can get Netanyahu to bend over also.

I will make you a deal. When there are no more parades for Israel in NYC, I will agree not to march with my gay and lesbian Israeli friends. Gay rights will continue whether you like it or not. There is a lot of work to do in ISrael and around the world. Unfortunately there are many in Israel who would like us to go away....no more closets for us !
16. 15 , two very different subjects
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (07.07.10)
That's not very smart from you , with your comparison you will only give arguments to opponents to the Parade . They can call you an anti Israel gay who lives abroad and has to parade there , not here .
