1. Obama claims to have slowed Iran: they have 2x the uranium
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (07.06.10)
Will Obama claim to have slowed Iran: they have 2x the uranium that they had 1 year ago. US analysis says they have enough for 2 bombs now.
2. Adequacy of hypocrisy
sam ,   colorado   (07.06.10)
(AT LEAST) As long as Israel won't settlements freeze in the West Bank so why Netanyahu wants direct talks with Palestinians soon?
3. #2
Ari ,   Israel   (07.06.10)
This is typical lack of information. Netanyahu is enforcing a settlement freeze and has been for months. The settlement freeze does not affect PRE-EXISTING building projects in settlements that ALREADY exist. It bars contruction of new settlements. This is a major concession. Have the Palestinians made any lately?
4. Obama
Curtis ,   Westminster, USA   (07.06.10)
Don,t listen to Obama Bin Lying
5. Israel is tired of giving.
Ben S ,   Free world   (07.06.10)
Israel gave Palis the West bank and Gaza. Israel received nothing in return. All Israel gets are bullets, rocks, molotov cocktails, and missiles aimed at innocent Israeli civilians. Enough is enough.
6. Did all you US jews Obama says the bond with Israel is unbre
zionist forever   (07.06.10)
What kind words Obama speaks to those jewish swing voters whose votes the Democrats will need badly in November. I wonder what Obama says about the bond with Israel when the reporters have gone home. If Bibi handles this right and takes advantage of the fact there are midterms coming he can give minimum concessions to Obama. Give the man a little reward so when Bibi goes home Obama can say how productive things are and how we are much closer to peace but the price for Israel hasn't been heavy. Bibi should probably offer something like a 6 month extension to the building freeze in Judea & Samaria but he also wants Obama to turn a blind eye to building in Jerusalem providing it doesn't involve pulling down hundreds of arab houses. Obama can even openly say something like this isnt productive but he doesn't try stop it. That will keep the jews happy and Obama can keep his ego happy by telling everybody he is making progress. Offering big concessions like Barak wants to do like proposing borders will not be appreciated by Obama it will be used. Today I got borers, when the heat is off after the midterms I am going to get Jerusalem and an agreement for Israel to take in a couple of hundred thousand so called refugees. Lets not make it easy for Obama, make him fight for every concession so far we have been giving alot and getting nothing in exchange, not even condemning terror.
7. oboma lying for camera

8. I dare you!!!
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (07.06.10)
Don't take their loans(hardly a loan by the way),don't buy their Military hardware, and don't ask for their support in the political arena!!! Don't worry, the US won't go bankrupt just because you wont buy their Aircraft's or other military means. Let's see you do it then. I dare you!!!! By the way: The US was there before you,and will do just fine with out your technology. Either that or Daddy decides for everything!!!!
9. Obama hasn't changed!!! In response to a question he
Jehudah Ben-israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.06.10)
refused to refer to the concept of "two states for two peoples", that is a Jewish state and an Arab state. Instead, Obama made reference only to "two state solution". In so doing he has taken the Muslim-Arab side of the argument of not accepting Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people, as called for by the United Nations. This is the real Obama, once you scrape the surface of this man. But let us not be surprised since after all his mentor for 20 years has been the Rev. J. Wright and his close friend, Min. L. Farakhan.
10. Best quote
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.06.10)
"The US president added that America's bond with Israel is unbreakable, and that the US will never ask Israel to do anything that undermines its security." So Hussein Obama doesn't think that asking Israel to make concession after concession and "negotiate" with assorted terrorist riff-raff bent on Israel's destruction doesn't undermine Israel's security. Moreover, allies do not bully their allies. So much for the "unbreakable bond." Hussein Obama has done nothing but placate and cater to Israel's most implacable foes and bully Israel. Who does he think he is fooling? If he wants to leave his mark on history by forcing the creation of a Palestinian state, let him do so on United States soil, not Israel. If he thinks that a Palestinian state led by terrorist scum is a super idea -- fine. The Arabs have been the aggressor in each of Israel's six major wars, and the Palestinians have engaged in unremitting terror for better than sixty years. If Obama thinks that Palestinian violence and rejectionist attitudes and Arab intransigence should be rewarded, fine -- how's about Wyoming or Montana? I cannot wait for November, when Hussein Obama will get a very unpleasant comeuppance. The man is beyond contempt.
11. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.06.10)
Has it occurred to you that Israel holds the upper hand (having prevailed in all the wars, including the over sixty year one against Palestinian terror), that the Palestinians are not exactly in a position to make demands, nor to set terms and conditions for any "negotiations?" The Palestinians are a vanquished people. Period. Full stop. They should be treated exactly the way the Allies treated the Germans following World War II, and exactly the way the United States treated Japan following that same war. Right on down to convening war crimes tribunals for terrorists who have actively engaged in promoting their goal of the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jews. For that matter, why on earth should Israel negotiate with ANY Palestinian individual or organization without a clear repudiation of their charter (all of which call for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jews), and without a clear and unequivocal assertion of the right of the State of Israel to exist in its ancient homeland?
12. Obama shows Bibi great disrespect
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (07.06.10)
Look at Obama's eyes and his crossed legs as well as his demeanor. It is nothing but DISRESPECT. Obama is trying to sell B.S. to American Jews but we know he ain't Kosher.
13. P.S. to my previous post: Obama also made reference to
Jehudah Ben-israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.06.10)
the "Palestinian territories", although the territories in question are in dispute, awaiting for a final resolution of their state. "Palestinian territories" is a phrased designed by the Arabs for promotional purposes, trying to advance their argument in a dispute that has been in existence for decades. Obama, the man who "set under" Rev. J. Wright, has obviously accepted the Arabs' line of propaganda and is providing the Arab side with a stage for it at the White House while, without any shame, meeting the Arabs' opponent, Israel's prime minister.
14. #10 When daddy pays the bills, daddy tells you when to bring

The car HOME!!!!
15. #12 He will sit in what ever way he wants!!
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (07.06.10)
It's not israel that gives Sophisticated weapons, cash, political support and etc to the US!!! You got it all wrong
16. Obama is still to apologize to the Jewish people, within and
Jehudah Ben-israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.06.10)
without Israel, an apology not yet delivered in his meeting with Netanjahu. Mr. Obama has exhibited hostility towards Israel, its elected officials, its government and its ministries and towards Israel's courts and their decisions. Mr. Obama, in so doing, has insulted and humiliated time and again not only the prime minister of the national home of the Jewish people but the Jewish people as a whole by indirectly questioning the legitimacy of Israel's right to exist and by putting down some of the Jewish people's most important symbols of renewed Jewish sovereignty in the Jewish people's ancestral homeland. Indeed, Obama, despite being perceived abroad as "progressive", has taken a racist stand against the Jews and only against the Jews by insisting that Jews, only because they are Jewish, may not reside in certain parts of town...!! This racist demand passed from the world in the United States more than half a century ago in a formal way. Yet, the "progressive" Obama and his "liberal" right hand person, Clinton, have demanded and continue to demand, against Israel's Supreme Court decisions, that Jews must refrain from moving into neighborhoods of Israel's capital city, Jerusalem, DC (Jerusalem, David's City). Netanjahu's quarrel and indeed the people of Israel's quarrel is not with America and the American people. It is however with the temporary president of the United States, Barack (derived from the Arabic Barakah) Hussein Obama and with his mentor, Rev. J. Wright. Isn't time Obama apologized for his hostile attitude towards Israel and the Jewish people...??!!
17. Obama was not even gracious enough to accept Bibi's
Jehudah Ben-israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.06.10)
invitation to Obama to visit the national home of the Jewish people. Any suggestions why...?? I suspect that a member of the mutually admiring society of Obama-Jackson-Farakhan-Wright no such invitation to the home of the Jews is acceptable, despite the Charm Offense recently played in various theaters around town.
18. It sounds very positive as reported by
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (07.06.10)
Ynet but the photo renders some difficulties: Netanyahu is gazing directly at O'Bama whereas O'Bama's eyes are shaded and looking below Mr. Netanyahu as if he has something to hide. Ofte times, photos and visual impressions tell us a good deal more abou the sub-text than the content of the verbal communications. Nothing definitive here; just a possible clue.
19. obama is repeating himself, isnt he: "israel SERIOUS ABOUT"
eporue ,   europe   (07.06.10)
peace / peace-talks / direct-talks.. shouldnt that be the most normal thing, without any need to mention ? me, a no-nobel-prize-winner, would take from this the message: ISRAEL DOESNT WANT PEACE ! ...which perfectly matches your clown-governments actions, btw... and when the president says, he wont ask for anything what threatens security, then one might think, he IS going to ask for quite something... but best, this oversized LAMP next to bibi... seriously, its way to big... a real eye catcher, isnt it ? yes, your bibi is a bit dim...
20. #5 What part of you 're all wrong, don't you understand?
Edithann ,   USA   (07.06.10)
What part of 'israell has no right to exist' on Palestinian land, don't you understand? What part don't you understand, that Israel has exceeded the UN orignal mandate for displacing Palestinians and is in violation? What part of 'Israel is on it's way to illegitimacy' don't you understand? TATA
21. To: No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.06.10)
What part of "if you are the aggressor in a particular conflict and lose both the conflict and territory in the process of waging said aggressive war, then the victor has every right to retain and settle the territory" do you NOT understand? Corollary thereto, what part of "the Palestinians have on three separate and distinct occasions flat out rejected a two-state solution -- there will be no fourth offer" do you NOT understand. What part of "King Hussein accorded all West Bank Arabs Jordanian citizenship in 1950; they have a country, let them go there" do you NOT understand? What part of "We've seen many come and we've seen many go and Israel will be here long after the so-called Palestinians have been consiged to the ash heap of history" do you NOT understand? Gee. Edithann. You don't understand much, do you? TA TA.
22. #20 Its because they think GOD gave them that land!!!
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (07.06.10)
This is no different from that twisted logic the Taliban and etc use.
23. #20 Good to know
Edward ,   USA   (07.06.10)
There is no such thing in the world history as a palestinian land or palistinian nation. It is never ever exist. Nobody wants this land until Jews start improving it. If you happy with UN original mandate you should ask Arabs why they gave up on building there state in 1948 as Israel did instead of starting war with Israel. Why they did not established state before 1967 when there brothers Jordanians and Egyptians control that territory? I wish you learn a little bit of history before accusing Israel. By the way so to say palestinians do not want to live in there state because they not going to have such good live as they have in Israel
24. Obama Says he is still a Muslim.
Jay ,   USA   (07.06.10)
“Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit of Egypt said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, in which President Obama told him that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.” You know what that means for Israel & the Jews……
25. Where is Salma?
Dina   (07.06.10)
26. Tough one for the Pals- Why aren't they at the peace table?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.07.10)
Even Salma would have a tough one here. The Palestinians keep making excuse after excuse, but the bottom line is they simply can't come to the negotiating table. They're too weak. Fayyad and Abbas can't negotiate a separate peace for the west bank, and everybody knows that Hamas in Gaza does not want peace. If Fatah shows up at the peace talks, they'd be forced to admit that the Palestinians are split and incapable of signing a peace deal. Gaza continues to confound everybody - well, except the Iranians, who really do want another war here, and they want Hamas and Hezbollah to fight it for them. Nothing like a dictatorial Islamofascist government 1000 miles away to pump weapons into a region where no Iranian blood will be shed. And, of course, the more Iran meddles and interferes with the Arabs, the harder it is to make peace. Salma can't do anything except wring her phony hands in Ramat Aviv (or Europe or wherever she really is), and lament the fact that the Palestinians really don't hold any cards of value right now - so why even bother coming to the card table?
27. Obama states that Israel "wants peace"
Lowell Blackman ,   Ramat Ilan, Israel   (07.07.10)
How does one define "chutzpah"? Barak Obama can: "I believe Israel wants peace", he said on the news. He "believes"? He doesn't know? Do we need this charlatan, this accidental president, to tell us something that has been obvious and clearly stated as far back as our Declaration of Independence. Let Obama lecture to Abbas and take him to task for his public support of incendiary mosque sermons and an antisemitic and belligerent Palestinian press.
28. Thank the US Congress
Marcella   (07.07.10)
for the greater civility on the part of the White House. Many congressmen have openly criticized the president for his shabby treatment of Netanyahu and Israel. Israelis such as David Bedein have done an excellent job educating congressmen about the reality of the US-PA conflict. They too deserve our thanks.
29. ME soon to be flooded with high tech arms
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (07.07.10)
US has signed deals for selling F-16s and F-15s along with anti-air,tank and ship missiles to Arab countries. This is mainly to counter Iran but in a few years they could be used against Israel, with Egypt and Saudi Arabia getting nukes if Iran is not stopped soon. Obama is pushing hard for peace deal now for a reason.
30. # 22
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.07.10)
Nope we dont think G*d gave us this land, we KNOW G*d gave us this land.It is written in our Bible. You being a hateful anti-semite have trouble in understanding this. TOUGH.
