That Obama even has to THINK of making such an interview is disgraceful. Even if he himself came to lay bricks in the settlements to expand them, some people would keep insisting he's rabidly anti-Israel! Ridiculous. He has done a fairly decent job as the President, and his approach to the Middle Easter conflict has been relatively evenhanded. If anything, he should've put the screw on Netanyahu far more on some issues. His attempt of "outreach" to the Muslim world was misguided and foolish. The Muslim world has to grow up and undergo a process of secularization before it can be talked to and cooperated with. But anyway, it is mindboggling that the President of the United States of America felt compelled to practically grovel like this, and I say SHAME on those who relentlessly AND UNJUSTIFIABLY attack him. If he succeeds in reining in the dangerous settlement enterprise, he'll have done Israel a HUGE favor in the long term.

Its time to put faith in the world, and to not be negative and pessimistic all the time. We need to believe that peace will be achieved and Israel will be around forever, and accepted by all. We need to believe that eventually there will be a safe Palestinian state that will be compatible with Israel. If we are negative all the time, and only think the worst, none of this will come true. Put faith in Obama and Netanyahu, we always dont agree with them, but they are running their respective countries, and Im sure none of us could.
