I believe the comment from #9 is a result of a recent article in the British left wing (and venomously anti -Israel) newspaper 'The Guardian' , concerning some classified Israeli documents from the 1970s that have just , due to the time factor, become non-secret. One of them apparantly showed that, in the '70's, Israel was approached by S. Africa with regard to supplying S-A with some missile casings, of sufficient size that they could conceivably have been used take a nuclear payload. There was no eviidence in the original document that these cases were ever supplied, and also no evidence of what kind of payload the SAs actually intended to use them for - only that the requested casings weren't small! However, by changing a few key words and adding a few more that were not actually in the original document, the 'journalist' (and I use that term most loosely here) involved managed to give the impression that they were for nuclear use, and then leaped ahead in his article to suggest that Israel not only supplied the casings, but also their nuclear payload. This artical has already been completely debunked (pls. ref. the website of CIFwatch - I do not have a link to hand), but , as is usual in the case of israel-bashers, this has been ignored by the anti-israel mob, and sufficient bandying about of lying tittle-tattle has resulted in this now becoming their accepted version of events (little things like facts are such a nuisance to keep up with, after all).
