You will probably not break the blockade by yourselves. But you will increase international attention and pressure on Israel to end their illegal blockade. Look what the last Flotilla brought. It pressured Israel to allow more goods. But unforunately, no building supplies, or even ball bearings to fix their carts, or any exports. With heroic actions like yours, the illegal blockade will be broken soon.

Libyan aide to Palestinians, 2004: 14 million dollars. Libyan aide to Palestinians, 2005: Zero. Reference: CRS Report for Congress, U.S, Foreign Aid to the Palestinians by Jeremy Sharp & Christopher Blanchard, 27 June 2006.

4. Is the Gaza Blockade Legal?
sam   (07.11.10)
Q: CAN ISRAEL IMPOSE A NAVAL BLOCKADE ON GAZA? A: Yes it can, according to the law of blockade which was derived from customary international law and codified in the 1909 Declaration of London. It was updated in 1994 in a legally recognised document called the "San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea". Under some of the key rules, a blockade must be declared and notified to all belligerents and neutral states, access to neutral ports cannot be blocked, and an area can only be blockaded which is under enemy control. "On the basis that Hamas is the ruling entity of Gaza and Israel is in the midst of an armed struggle against that ruling entity, the blockade is legal," said Philip Roche, partner in the shipping disputes and risk management team with law firm Norton Rose. Marieisme64 ,   US   (07.11.10)
Yes' it's legal for every other country in the world to protect it's ports from, God knows what, so why not Israel. I am thrilled that Israel is finally defending itself, and actually being pro-active. Makes me ill when I see them cower to international critisism because it is Israeli lives! Not long ago, it was said.."next year in Jerusalem." You are there! Keep and defend, no matter what!!! What will you say if you give it away? You owe to the 6 million who lost thier lives. God Bless Israel!

Hate to break this to you, Douggie. It's a legal blockade. It has been internationally recognized. Dearie, dearie me. Go home and compose a new post. Sigh. If you don't mind me adding a piece of personal advice -- go to college. Your city happens to have a fine one. Take a history course or two; take a course in international diplomacy. That way, Douggie, you won't make NEARLY as much of a fool of yourself as you have in your post at No. 1. Good luck, Douggie!
9. " AID" SHIPS SAILING IN WRONG DIRECTION
ABRAHAM ben JACOB ,   CANADA   (07.14.10)
SUDAN AND LYBIA BORDER EACH OTHER. LYBIA IS CLOSE TO GO DARFUR WHERE THERE IS REAL SUFFERING. ONE OF THE SHIP'S ACTIVISTS STATED THAT , ........"Our job is to help people in need – be they Catholic, Muslim or anything else. " IN DARFUR, THEY REALLY DO NEED AID ! DARFUR IS SO NEEDY OF AID AND IS IN SHARP CONTRAST TO THE FAKE GAZA " ACTIVISTS " AND THE FALSE " PROPOGANDA GAZA FLOTILLAS ".
