The blockade is nothing more than one more of their forked tounge uses of force to steal thier land. Israel should take a very strong decisive action against this unnecessary provocations. Linda - You obviously are in favor of a one-state solution, since you want Israel to declare soverignty over the whole area. This would leave Israel with a majority of Palestineans. I assume you would agree they should be granted citizenship? Or are you proposing an Apartheid regime? What is it that you are proposing, regarding the Pals that live there now?

It makes one laugh, that countries like Libya are suddenly in the humanatarian arena when their is a PR opportunity to be had. Where have they and other countries like them been in previous years to help the Palestinians? They should be stopped, sent home with their tales between their legs and learn to out their focus and attention where it is going to be helpful. Gaza is under blockade because their government are murderers and are being stopped from causing atrocities. I feel sorry for the Gazans that they are ruled by these murderers. Let's hope that one day, some true humanatarian group will send a flotilla to remove Hamas out of the lives of these innocent people!

My Friend From Seattle, I am sorry if you havent realized this before but everything you were saying is pure ignorance. I know it rains all the time, but maybe you should take it easy on the drugs. The State of Israel was established as a Jewish state with set borders by the UN Partition Plan of 1947, which was voted on and passed by a majority of the countries in the world. Immidiately after, the newly born baby state was attacked by SEVEN already established Arab nations, and these nations were defeated by people who wanted nothing but freedom from global religious persecution and were willing to risk everything to establish a country where their descendants can live peacefully free from fears of being killed by their own countrymen just for being Jewish. Now, as a spiritual man I am sure you might see this as a divine miracle as surely all the odds were stacked up against us. This was the case in subsuquent wars again in 1967 and 1973 where our peaceful nation was once again attacked in an attempt to destroy our race. In these wars, however, we were also able to gain a significant amount of territory. And what did we do with this land you might ask, well we used it as a barganing tool for PEACE with our surrounding neighbors. We reached out to our surrounding Arab nations and offered them back the land in exchange for peace, because we just want to coexist peacefully and not get rockets fired at us on a daily basis and have our buses, restaurants and clubs bombed. We gave up an enormous (proportionally) chunk of land to Egypt just for PEACE. In the year 2000, we offered the Palestinian Authority (then led by Arafat) $30,000,000, half of Jerusalem and even more land to start their own country as long as they made peace with us. THE OFFER WAS ON THE TABLE. But, Arafat refused, showing the world just how comitted the Palestinian leadership is to peace. Now you want to compare Israel, a thriving democracy who in its short 60 years of existence has emerged as a world leader in many sectors such as Technology and Biotechnology. Also, a place where any person can voice descenting opions and not be killed or fear for their life. On the contrary we now have Hamas which is by definition a terrorist organization that murders its own people and subjects them to unwanted violance. 80% of Gaza's economy is based off teror. Terrorism is Gazas only export, that is the only thing they do. They want to destroy us. They scream, "Kill all the Jews and drown them in the sea." This is a war my friend from Seattle, and our blockade is 100% legal by all international laws. We will continue to defend ourself as a nation and Israel will continue to thrive. EL EL ISRAEL!

Your talkback was the typical jargon I expect from Pal supporters. I read with minimal interest until you said, “God destroyed Israel twice for these kind of crimes against humanity, and there is no reason to think that He will not do it again.” I was confused by the fact that you were aware of Israel’s long history in the region but oblivious of the prophecies that predicted the return of the Jews and the reestablishment of the Jewish state. Your statement “and there is no reason to think that He will not do it again.” shows a profound lack of understanding of Biblical prophecy. The simple truth is Israel will never again be destroyed because the Bible says it won’t be. That is reason enough for me. If you are going to use Biblical history bolster your arguments, may I humbly suggest you refrain from cherry picking your facts. Soon the Pal supporters will realize their deceitful and dangerous PR stunts with the flotillas will yield rapidly diminishing returns and the sooner the better.
