1. When an Arab kills a Jew, in Arab eyes he is a hero
Jorge ,   Tegucigalpa   (07.16.10)
He is a Shaheed, deserving of respect and admiration, even streets are named after some, In Israel, as it should be, if a Jew murders an Arab, he is captured, put in prison, sent before a Judge, if found guilt, sent to prison.
2. 21 KILLED 100 INJURED BY MUSLIMS TO MUSLIMS
............DACON9   (07.16.10)
DO YOU ARABS EXCUSE THIS? IS THIS JEW SHOWN TO BE GUILTY OF SUSPECTED? WHERE YOU DEAD ONES INNOCENT OR QUILTY AS PROVEN FROM ARAB AND MUSLIM HISTORY... DO I HAVE SYMPATHY OR COMPASSION FOR YOU? NO ! NOT A DROP... IF ARABS AND MUSLIMS DIDNT ATTACK THERE WOULD BE NO ARABS OR MUSLIMS HURT... JEWS ARE DEFENDING THEMSELVES ONCE AGAIN ITS ABOUT TIME WE ARE WAKING UP TO THE ARAB AND LIBERAL PROPAGANDA OF LIES AND DECIET
4. Gov't agents pushed him to murder
Raphy ,   Montreal   (07.16.10)
Y-net again did not mention that ISA agents pushed him to commit murder or confess. There are tapes available as proof. Y-net fails to tell the whole story yet again! See Arutz 7
5. and who says he did it?
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (07.16.10)
A suspected killer is by definition at least in the Western democratic countries, a suspect. Until he has been proven guilty, he is a suspect. Why does Ynet, and this bereaved family treat him as if it was a proven fact? Is there no journalistic respect in Israel?
6. Pearlman
Yisraeli   (07.16.10)
Oh I didnt know Pearlman was a convicted killer, I thought he was suspected to have killed. Reading this article seems judge and jury and executiioner passed sentence. Bet you if he wasnt a kippa wearing jew but a sworn leftist, this article would be worded much differently.
7. More biased reporting
Akiva   (07.16.10)
Yet again we have YNet declaring someone on the right guilty until proven innocent by describing him as the killer. I'd say this is shocking, but I think we all know how the leftist Israeli media is willing to bend the truth all too frequently.
8. Justice where justice is due. Remember that...
Brian Cohen ,   Judean PeoplesFront   (07.16.10)
...a person is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. That goes for Perlman too, no matter what you think. Just like Arabs who murder Jews, Perlman must be allowed access to a lawyer IMMEDIATELY. And Amran should be reminded that unlike the Israelis, the Palestinian Authority does not consider the murder of Jews to be a crime, and the PA is not pursuing any of the dozens of murder cases that are still open. Why? Because the Palestinians do not consider it murder. Even Goldstone sees it as a war crime, but the Palestinians consider it heroism to kill Israeli civilians. Amran is upset that it is "wrong to kill a person"? The Palestinians use murder as their official national policy. They have been condemned by Amnesty Intl and Human Rights Watch for their war crimes, but it's not in fashion to bad mouth the Palestinians - so nobody gives a damn since they only murdered Israeli civilians. Oh yea, I forgot, they also murdered Americans, Canadians, Thais, Europeans, Asians and South Americans too. Maybe as part of the peace process the world could get the Palestinian police to open cases as murder files, not as "this person's family gets a pension because they martyred themselves by killing Zionists and people who happened to be the Zionist entity".
9. A Dreyfus trial here in Israel?
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (07.16.10)
More than a few things disturb me about this case. First, I want to make it clear that the described murder crime is horrific and should warrant appropriate justice. Brian Cohen's remarks are justifiable but we should allow ourselves to sink into the same hole as our enemies. My main concern is what happened to any police investigation of this serious crime? It's understandable that the Shabak would have to undertake the initial line of enquiries considering the potential political motivation of the crime. However, if someone has to be arraigned before an Israeli court of law, shouldn't the police normally be involved, even at the latter stages when the evidence has already been compiled? That brings me to the next point, the nature of the conflicting reports: How can any decent Israeli have confidence in our law enforcement and legal system when we are confronted by a case that 'appears' to be based on political considerations more than upon the need for justice? Just look at the media reporting system and the obvious emotional responses to clarify that political interests are running high. I truly sympathise with Samar, but believe that he would not feel satisfied should another innocent person be denied the choice of life, albeit through freedom. In light of the surfaced tapes that demonstrate a dubious method of collecting evidence (maybe the police could have done a better job) and the subsequent denial of any legal counsel, it very much appears that a misjustice has been acknowledged and is trying to be covered up. Only beware, that bad smells have a habit of penetrating the air waves and can be traced to their source. In conclusion, I believe that Israel needs a competent internal security service, and may sometimes have to convince the public of its potency, however this case seems to have backfired, and the more questionable methods are used to sweeten the verdict, the stronger the smell will emerge.

It seems like some people are getting more into a habit of trying to make some of the strangest people into heros. It doesn't work. I'd say no more possibly crazy, or always putting themselves first, etc types of people allowed as candidates. There are some worthy people that really do deserve this title, just have to find them.
11. Ynet convicted this SUSPECT long before any trial.
Pinchas ,   Israel   (07.16.10)

13. Why does Ynet never term Arabs as terrorists
Moshe   (07.16.10)
Why do you never term Arabs as terrorists when they murder? If a Jew murders someone, in every Ynet article you'd find the word terrorist and Ynet would make sure to post it again and again. Is that because you are self-hating Jews and relish in the thought that a Jew can also be a terrorists. Let me tell you something. A Jew can be a murderer but can NEVER be a terrorist.

of murder and terror, Arab or Jew. If he is convicted, he and all terrorists should be put to death.
