3. erdogan as mediator
alexi   (07.17.10)
Only a shmuck like olmert could trust erdogan with israel s gvital security interests. Hebrew U may think olmert is talented, yet if he has any, it is in theory. In practise, he is dumb as hell, no insight, and appeases more than chamberlain. His whole family almost all is rife with 2 bit corruption. Only the legal community is still trying to protect him yet he will go down to jail time of at least 5 years. And his twin, livni, another dumb dora will never see the PM's office as she is as stupid as olmert.
4. Turkey can not mediate change of a Dollar right now
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (07.17.10)
Assad can affirm all he wants, but Turkey gave up its role as mediator 2 years ago, and has only been making it worse with sending its political flotilla. As things are progressing we can expect Turkey to be closing its embassy in Tel Aviv soon. And the next one will be in Israel's capital, Jerusalem, or not at all.

12. Syria??? are you kidding??
Ayla ,   Turkey   (07.17.10)
Turkey doesn't need Syria!! Turkey needs to look towards Russia and China for technological/political advancement! Then we will see how the world play's their cards towards Turkey/Turks as a nation! I believe Turkey and Israel can be friends once again. It is possible ;-) However NOT WITH both the Erdogan government and Nethanyahu government. Those two govenments are to blame for the recent descending relationship between Turkey and Israel.
