Don't ever forget that Hamas does not want peace. They say so in their constitution. Their leaders say so. They say so with their actions. Hamas does not want peace. Gaza is in a state of war with Israel, despite what all the Palestinian-lovers try to tell us. The EU and the UN are powerless, because Hamas does not respect international law. In fact, they spit on international law, which they say was created by Christians and Jews - they want nothing of it. Hamas is indeed the enemy. They have never said they will stop their war with us. They only thing Hamas tries to sell is their warped idea of a non-ceasefire called a "calming". Hamas never uses the word "ceasefire" - they do not believe in it. Anybody who says that Hamas will negotiate peace with Israel is simply a liar. Hamas has never said they want peace. The meaning of Hamas "democratically electing" Hamas means that the Palestinians have chosen war over peace. The peace process is frozen solid. There is no way to move it forward with any kind of talks. The only step forward is Palestinian elections. If Fatah wins, there is a small chance of peace. If Hamas wins again, there is no choice - only war.
