If this is a one off and its only these 1200 children fine but if this law applies to children in the future as well then it will be abused. I want to stay in Israel so I get into Israel on a valid work permit I overstay, have a child send my child to school where they will learn hebrew keep a low profile for 5 years and then apply for residency status. Also now I have residency then I will start looking for a better job than picking fruit or working on a construction site. Israel is famous for being a soft touch that never deports illegals just turns talks about it as a result there are over 100,000 illegals running free in the country some came in illegally others overstayed their work permits How many of the filipinos who run the flea market in Eilats beaches are actually illegals same with Tel Avivs bus station and the surrounding area? Now because Israelis can't bear to deport children they will let them stay and their relatives back home will hear all about it and more people will come. There was a time when foreign workers used to be kept in jails to stop them just disappearing into society and never being heard of again but then we got much more easy going and we now have an pandemic. Build acommodation camps for people on short term work permits and even consider electronically tagging them ( take off the tag & the police pick you up its automatic deportation ) A decent place to live but we know where they are at all times With illegals we should not hope they will do the right thing and turn themselves in for deportation we need to build deportation camps where we keep people locked up until they can be deported. Camps like this are not concentration camps which the liberal left will try compare them to.

will more another blow to israel just be more meat for BBC and leftis. In the end it will do more bad then good.

This is a good move. I wish that the Israeli government will allow Chinese to migrate to Israel. Every country which receive Chinese migrants will be prosperous.

It is sad to deport children and their families, but this is just the tip of the iceberg and the situation will only become worse and worse. In the end, between foreign workers, Arabs, and non-Jewish legal immigrants, will we still remain a Jewish country? The State of Israel was recreated in 1948 as a homeland for the Jewish People, but unfortunately, most of the world's Jews refuse to move here.

Our government is protecting us, for the migrant workers children 5 years old and above is enough to stay here in israel.... we have our own problems to focus, PEOPLE of ISRAEL FIRST!!!!

I wish that the Israeli government will allow Pilipina/Pilipino to stay as long as they want to work legal here in Israel with out having a family/childrens in order to avoid having a child to born here..that is the only solution in order not to have childrens to born here because most of us here are wanting to have children to use as a visa inder not to sent back home if we already reach the limit stay.so,DEPORT ALL THE CHILDRENS together with their parents who have no legal working visa ang allow us to stay to work here with out limit year to aviod having a childrens to use only as a visa..pls.i hope this revalation will allow us to work here as long as we want without having a family(childrens) but a legal working visa....AGAIN, DEPORT ALL CHILDRENS AND THIER PARENTS BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY USING THEM HERE TO STAY,SOME PARENTS HERE HAVE OTHER FAMILY IN PHILIPPINES..SOME ARE COMMITTING ADULTERY IN SHORT SAY.,,THEY ARE USING THE CHILD AS THEIR SCAPEGOAT.

I agree with our Minister Eli Yishai, let us not be hypocrites, we all know that some of the migrant workers are using their children as human shields to stay here!! (some of the children doesn't have the right documents because some of their parents changed their names; some of them product of "adultery"), how about the migrant workers who are serious enough to wok here?, some of the migrant workers send their babies to the Philippines inable to work here legally and peacefully.... I am calling all the ministers of our country, please decide as soon as possible, thank you.
