Competition for bu$ine$$ is fair enough, so such competition must be
tolerated in a free society.
That's as far as tolerance goes.
Officials that decide whether Elbit or IAI have a technically better PERFORMANCE +cost had better be technical EXPERTS ...NOT the usual technically obsolete managers !
That goes for double for CALCALIST who don't know "how to turn ON the lights !"

Out of all the countries operating UAVS in Afghanistan in proportion there are more countries operating Israeli than ones made by any other country.
As Israel is probably second or third largest developer and exporter of UAVS in the world.
This should be taken advantage of and rather than spending money it can't afford on the F35 as its next generation fighter it should develop a stealth UAV fighter.
Cheaper to design than a manned fighter so probably within Israels budget to invest in development of. Can be tailor made to Israels needs without any US restrictions, it would probably be cheaper than buying a whole load of US aircraft long term and it could be exported so rather than spend money on somebody elses kit lets have independence, create jobs and make money.
