Your two points are only one . When you see a nice woman , does this make you raping her ? Do those [ necessary pubs on a free website ] pubs make you becoming crazy ? Does this influence your behaviour ? Are those pupils , who are'nt allowed access to internet so weak in their beliefs ? There was no TV nor internet years ago . Where women and children not abused , raped in ALL segments of the society ? So to blame TV and internet has no sense . The only thing that has changed , since those no TV ...years is that today raped and abused people dare to talk , Gays have'nt to be in their closet anymore .
32. Sexual offences to the young are far
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (08.02.10)
easier to commit in closed communities such as those frequented by the Carideem because of the isolation, the refusal to deal with sexual inclinations and the uncritical respect and fear of elders, some of whom may be sexual perverts. I would therefore not be surprised that in time many more cases of sexual abuse of children is discovered in Charedi communities. The Catholic church in the USA, Canada and western Europe may be seen as a model for this kind of corruption. In addition, even sober minded parents lose control of their children as they enter their teenage years. This is a natural developmental progression. Furthermore, with the advent of the internet so easily available, parents have even less control of their children, especially teenagers, than they once had. So blaming the parents no longer musters the same truism that it once did. I am not Charedi bashing, incidentally. As one poster stated, sexual abuse is rampant worldwide and it occurs in the "best" of families. I am simply suggesting that there will be far more cases coming out of the woodwork amongst the Charideem due to the reasons listed in the first paragraph.
33. This disgusting article should have a warning.
Eliyahu Konn ,   Dublin,OH   (08.03.10)
That it is very explicit and that there are idiots commenting in the talkback section, especially the "curious" ones. I have one for you. More time with father and mother and less time alone or playing. Maybe a father could teach his son to be a man and a mother could teach her daughter how to be a woman. And while they are at it they could mention that intimacy is for marriage.
34. Modern Day Ammon & Tamar
Stan ,   USA   (08.03.10)
This isn't new. There wasn't any outside influence or pornography in biblical times, yet incidents like this still happened (and more than once). This is Human nature and somehow some kids will get the idea. They just need to be punished like any other criminal.
35. The stories related in this article
Sagi   (08.03.10)
prove one thing and one thing only, the kids involved are completely normal human beings. The restrictions exerted on growing kids, by parents, society and particularly by religion and particularly at the critical stage of puberty, are completely abnormal and not conducive to producing healthy adults.
36. #33 -- Teaching abstinance only...
dorothy friend ,   tel aviv   (08.03.10)
...sure helped Mrs. Holier-than-thou-Christian Sarah Palin's daughter keep her maidenhead intact 'til marriage. What did you say? She has a sweet little baby and no wedding ring? Is this the Second Coming?
37. Confusion between sexual activity and sexual abuse
HaifaRapeCrisisCente   (08.03.10)
This article presents a serious confusion between sexual activity and sexual abuse. For example: "Attorneys Amikam Hadar and Hedva Shapira witnessed a growing phenomenon from their experience as lawyers. "In the last six months we've gotten 10 cases of sexually active religious kids," Shapira said." The problem here is not that the children are sexualy active. The problem here is that children are sexually abusing others. Similarly: " A psychiatric evaluation determined that Tehila had decided to leave religious life, dyed her hair, wore excessive make-up and "was behaving in a manner inconsistent with her social-religious background." Writing to the psychiatric committee discussing her case, Tehila noted, "I am perfectly healthy and need no treatment. I was kicked out of school for hanging around boys. I know it's wrong to hang around with boys and want to return to school." Tehila was clearly being sexually abuse (as is previously mentioned in the article) even if she doesn't realize it (yes there is such a thing, especially when the men abusing her are older than her as is mentioned yearlier in the article). If you have been sexually abused, you are not alone. You can call: Hotline for Women 1202 Hotline for Men 1203 For Arab speakers 04-6566813 For Religious Women 02-6730002 For Religious Men 02-5328000 All calls are confidential.
38. 33 , You did it too , hypocrite goy
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.03.10)
And don't tell me that you are an "angel" . People of your kind are the WORSE , or are abnormal . I think the latter applies to you .
39. To the hypocrite @ # 33
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.03.10)
You were an "angel" ? Such an "angel" is most likely not normal , your belief proves it .
40. abnormal behaviour
thinkagain ,   jerusalem   (08.03.10)
These kind od experiences are not welcome, but not abnormal. But forcing the victim to do dirty things against her will , is pervert. This ugly boy must stay under severe control.

Sagi   (08.03.10)
What you said is sad, very sad. The fact that you believe in what you said is even sadder. There is nothing more natural in this life than young people becoming aware of and exploring their sexuality, yet you choose to call them criminals and advocate their punishment. This is so sad.

If your logic were valid, all free websites would also have to carry such adverts to fund their services, but they don't. The sort of ads appearing on this site are the domain of the 'tabloids', not serious newspapers. Secondly, your argument goes against the opinion of any and every psychologist, youth worker, law enforcement authority I, for one, have ever heard. In other countries, standards exist and are rigorously upheld. In Israel provocative adverts are not only acceptable, but have always been commendable (perhaps because they infuriate the haredim). Your question about weak beliefs etc is simply demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of human nature, Judaism, or any moral or religious code, for that matter.
43. Hormons
Unknown ,   Israel, Givat Shmuel   (08.03.10)
The problem is that when you Start to have your Hormons in a Peak Time which can start for Youngsters at a young age (as in Bar Mitzva and Bat Mitzva time) They have no control of their own feeling, it is part of their human nature you cannot avoid it, you cannot runaway from it. But I beleive as acting parents you need to know when the right time comes you need to speak to your childeren by expaining 'How our Human Body' works. They need to be prepared that their body is going to go through changes. And understand on the other side what is allowed and whats not in order to prevent the situation getting worse for them.
44. Salma should write about sexually active arab kids
Trumpeldor ,   eurabia   (08.03.10)

Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.03.10)
So lets say thast Ynet is a tabloid , you are always devoring . I have lived abroad , western Europe , and there you will find the same kind of ads . If people have to be "protected" against TV and internet , it only means thjat those kould "endanger" their belief = weak one . Youi can bring me thousands of "endangering" my secular ideas , they will not change at all . I'm strong in my [non] belief . Maybe you live in a very closed society so you don't knoww very much of general ideas and beliefs .
46. to#45 strong in my (non) belief
thinkagain ,   jerusalem   (08.03.10)
If one day one of your grandchildren decide something you think and tell them, this is not a jewish way . They answer you:why ?all nonjews do that, with what is a jew better than a non jew? What will you tell them as a nonbeliever?
47. 46 , Try to think .....if you can
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.03.10)
I will NOT say : it's not a Jewish way . That's all , your problem resolved ?
48. In so called "palestinian" culture these girls's be beheaded
jae ,   Lynn US   (08.04.10)
by their father. Salma tell us about how Arafat your terrorist thug leader who derved the peace prize as much as genghis khan would...tell us about the boys he would engage in sex with? Tell us how he died of AIDS? Headline News Thursday, July 12, 2007 by Staff Writer Arafat died of AIDS, confirms Palestinian leader A leading Palestinian “resistance” figure has confirmed what many suspected all along: Yasser Arafat died of AIDS. In an interview with Hizballah's Al-Manar TV earlier this month, Ahmad Jibril, founder and leader of the Damascus-based Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, revealed a shocking conversation he recently had with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his staff. Said Jibril: “When [Abbas] came to Damascus with his team, I asked them: 'What happened to the investigation into the death of [Arafat]? Is it conceivable that when [former Lebanese prime minister] Rafiq Hariri was killed, all hell broke loose, but the death of Yasser Arafat, is not investigate?” Jibril, like many Palestinians, readily accepted the notion that Israel had assassinated Arafat, and wanted the Palestinian Authority to conduct an official investigation concluding as much. The response from Abbas' aides changed in an instant Jibril's view of his deceased mentor. “They were silent, and then one of them said to me: 'To be honest, the French gave us the medical report, that stated that the cause of [Arafat's] death was AIDS.'” Arafat eventually died in a Paris hospital after being airlifted out of Ramallah. Many speculated that the Palestinian leader, who was said to have had numerous homosexual relationships, had in fact contracted AIDS. A clearly angered Jibril said that Abbas and every other member of Arafat's Fatah faction “should be happy that we got rid of the plague, which had been imposed upon them and upon the Palestinian people. The Fatah movement now has an opportunity to renew itself.”

I didn't argue that Ynet is a tabloid. I argued that Israeli society in general has much lower standards than anywhere I've ever been - and that's everywhere except Africa and the USSR. My theory for this is that the founders of the State (primarily within the kibbutz movement which provided the backbone of the early armed forces and manpower) used the same policy as did Lenin and the Nazis towards their chosen elite: do whatever you like so long as you don't have children - to reward them for their loyalty. In other countries, this sort of permissiveness was frowned upon. WRT your argument about 'protection/endangering belief', I have already replied (albeit briefly), but it is clear that you did not understand what I wrote. You will have to learn a lot more about human nature and psychology before we can discuss that subject. For the meantime, though: enjoy today, for tomorrow ...

51. To#47 try to think
thinkagain ,   jerusalem   (08.04.10)
Try to think ahead...if you can.You are a clever man,and you have most probably more influence on your grand-children than you think. What if they are not satisfied with this material world we offer them, and some christian groups here in Israel,or some other sects G-d forbid, take advantage of their need of some sprituality? My problem is not yet solved.Sorry if i deceive you,but all jewish children matter to me.
52. What if ....
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.04.10)
If my cat was a cow , i coulk milk her under the stove . That's a Dutch saying , here on her place . With if's you can build a world . A French saying . What if they are not satisfied with this material world , and "god" forbid" [ LOL ] a chabad missionary convince one of them ? If all Jewish children matter to you , there are plenty of Voluntary organisations who need people , So do it . No words , but acts . Another Dutch saying
53. to#52 chabad missionary
think.again ,   jerusalem   (08.04.10)
chabad missionary is ok.Oost west thuis best.
54. 53 , your saying : not relevant
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.04.10)
It's said when someone returns to his "physicall " home , coming from abroad . And chabad is not my , nor my children nor grandchildren's home . Chabad ok ? Eigen lof stinkt . Look at this case of this guy who became chabadnik. , named Shuruk or so . here under magazine . His divorcee had to abduct her boy to protect him from chabad's ugly nets . They are as dangerous as any missionary .
55. saying not relevant
thinkagain ,   jerusalem   (08.04.10)
Eigen lof....is not relevant.I am not lubavitch..As a (non) believer do you believe every slander you read in the magazines?or only when it concerns orthodoxe people.
56. 55 , Saying relevant ! you said chabad ok
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.04.10)
What slander ? This case about Noam and his mother Isabelle vs this chabadnik ? I knew the court's decision weeks before it was published here . I'm following this case since some years , so i know it's not slander at all .

It is allways sad when children are victim of their parents divorce.
58. to 57
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.04.10)
It's sad when they are victims , but here it's not Noam's mother's fault . She did'nt change , he changed completely . I wrote it already : you haven't only to succeed your marriage , but , when you do it , also your divorce .
59. to#58 his fault?
thinkagain ,   jerusalem   (08.04.10)
May be you are right, but it can also be -as he did not complain ,not wanting, the whole world to know the negatif sides of the mother of his child-that it was her fault.Only G-d knows whose fault it was.
60. to 59 , Yes , 100 % his fault
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.04.10)
When they married , he was NOT a chabadnik . HE CHANGED , Read this article . He became a proselytor , a missionary for this group . Only god knows ? not with me , i'm ATHEIST and deny the existence of such an "idea" , inexisting .
