This woman initially went to police with a charge of forcible rape and that is what he was indicted for. It was only during the trial did she recant and admit it was consensual sex. The prosecutor had to then obtain a revised indictment to continue to prosecute this man. For lying to the police and prosecutor, this woman gets off scott free and even earns compensation. Lying to the police and the court should have earned her jail time instead of a reward.
