1. MEDIA PROPAGANDA SO ISRAEL WILL GIVE UP JUDEA AND SAMEREA
......DACON9   (07.30.10)
OF COURSE IT WAS HAMAS AND FATAH AND ALL THOSE ARABS EACH ONE HAS THEIR CHANCE TO SHOOT ISRAEL. THEY REVOLVE
2. Gee...do you think???
William ,   Israel   (07.30.10)
Of course it's to derail peace talks. This is 1995 all over again. Thank G-d for the blockade or we'd see buses full of civilians being blown up in Tel Aviv. Peace talks with the PA takes attention and power away from Hamas which is decries. It needs attention (mostly from mis-guided self-righteous EU Leftists) to give it legitimacy, money, and take the attention of its own domestic failures. Hizbullah did the same thing (several times) when Iran began feeling the heat from Intl players. It is one of the main tactics in the terrorist playbook.
3. Hamas controls everything in Gaza. Period.
David ,   Hartford USA   (07.30.10)
none of the 'good terrorist-bad terrorist' bullsh-t. Anyone who launches a rocket has Hamas's blessings. To say anything else is just baloney. Let the IDF repay the deed.
4. The Time To Make Smart Decisions
Kenny Sherman Sharon ,   Maaleh Adumim   (07.30.10)
I wrote last week, that as long as nobody is injured or killed, the IDF will continue to bomb a smuggling tunnel or hit a suspected bomb factory. Where is the proper retaliation that will deter the Hamas and the other terrorist organizations to shoot rockets, mortars at Israel? Have we no self-respect and pride as a democratic country with the right to protect our people and interests? Doesn't our government have the guts to do what has to be done to stop these attacks and acts of provocation by the Hamastan Terrorist Group and its affiliate groups in Gaza? Why, are we afraid of world opinion or the response we will receive from the US? When we are attacked and we retaliate, nobody has the right to criticize us, since we are not controlling Gaza. The fact is we need to conduct an extensive military operation to clear out the terrorists from that Wasp nest, so law and order will be implemented once again and a Democratic Government will replace the Hamastan Regime that reigns terror among their Muslim population, which have no intention of discussing peace with Israel. Their agenda is the destruction of the State of Israel, so there is no excuse for not terminating the existence of that terror regime in Gaza. It is time to face reality and stop conducting our affairs according to world opinion in the Media and according to statistics in terms of casualties (injuries and deaths), before we retaliate. Tomorrow, they will have more missiles, rockets and arms and they will improve their military capabilities, which will just make it harder on the IDF to overcome the enemy in Gaza and cause more casualties to our military and civilian population.
5. thanks G-d, Gaza blockade hasn't been lifted to be reimposed

6. as expected, Israel's F16 strikes Gaza city

7. Can Israel survive the current gutless gov't

It's a sign of tolerance or call it freedom of speech that ynet let you post your unintelligent sentence long posts here, without deleteing them, for they add nothing to the discussion at all. I guess that you post from GB - according to the style. USELESS.
9. I am pretty sure...
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland,Aotearoa   (07.31.10)
...that the missile was launched by the evil settlers who are desperate to derail imminent peace accord with peaceful Hamas. Shhhhhh.... I am having a Tui moment here.
10. No, it was an Israeli False Flag Operation...
Edithann ,   USA   (07.31.10)
Israel has enough Palestinian traitors in Gaza to thwart any peace plan..and those meaningless rockets are exactly Israel's plan to keep any peace negotiations at bey....It's great propaganda..and makes the Israeli brain dead populace cry in rage and fear... There has never been one Jewish death from any of those rockets... But it's good exercise for Israelis to keep killing...that is Israel's intention..and the bombing of Gaza is just a continuation and warms the hearts of the home crowd.... Israel is building and confiscating every piece of Palestine they can get their hands on at great neck speed.. and could care less about any peace talks with anyone...The US means nothing...less then nothing... Did you hear how an Israeli patrol machine-gunned a civilian bus, murdering 15 civilians? No, you didn't, because it was Obama's forces who wiped out Afghans. And if you care to respond, can you explain what Obama is doing in Afghanistan? I mean, I don't remember hearing of Afghans firing even one Grad rocket into the US or ever calling for genocide of the American people.
12. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.31.10)
No, fool, it was to inform you that Israel will retaliate in response to missile and mortar fire from terrorist scum in Gaza. Of course, when Israel grows sufficiently tired of the tit-for-tat approach, there's always the option of razing Gaza to the ground, but we're not there --- YET. Don't try our patience, though.
13. Hamas not eager for war but against peace with Fatah
Joe ,   Canada   (07.31.10)
Hamas may not want to start direct hostilities with Hamas, but it is anxious to prevent the start of talks between Israel & its mortal ennemy Fatah. So it will deny involvment in shellings but will not prevent them especially by other extremists groups as it serves its interests without appearing to be guilty on the international scene.
14. If GRAD crew lacked Hamas OK, they'd be thrown off buildings
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (07.31.10)
When Fatah supporters or common criminals in Gaza do anything Hamas dislikes, they wind up shot by firing squads or thrown off high-rise buildings, their families pushed out of their homes, their women dishonored. So spare us the naive craperoo that Hamas wasn't behind this or disapproved. They have an iron grip on Gaza. Hiding behind denials is how they operate. This is how a hudna operates, and why its worthless. Gaza should not be getting the benefit of their poor aim or (eventually) the effectiveness of Iron Dome. They tried to kill an apartment complex full of innocent civilians, and missed by 10 meters. The retaliatory strike should have reflected the goal, not the results. The air strike on Gaza should have been 10 times what Barak ordered, and completely destroyed a major target they value, like the entire, recently rebuilt Gaza harbor. This is why Barak's strategy fails to stop the rockets. He never learns.
15. #11..We're in Afghanistan looking for Osama...
Edithann ,   USA   (07.31.10)
The Israeli False Flag of 9/11 was so good, we, along with Israel, concluded that Osama and the Taliban did it.....So we're on his trail... and we should get him soon. Even if we have to wreck Pakistan...but that's not important... The real problem is stable Iran with a possibility of a 'bomb'...as opposed to the instability of Pakistan with the bomb.... Oy vey..all these problems!!... TATA
