I think it is incredibly stupid for Israel to sit back and allow the PA to build their recognition as a state including the recent upgrade in status by the US, at the same time as the PA continues to refuse to acknowledge Israel as a state. You cannot have 2 states living side by side in peace if one does not recognize the other. Israel should not make any more confidence building moves until the PA does something tangible.
