Salma ,   Palestine   (08.04.10)
2. thank you Kadima and Labor
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (08.04.10)
Before the corrupt Kadima regime seized power in Israel with Labor party support, this would have never happened. Thanks to the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif, the refocusing of Israeli security forces to oppress Jewish dissidents and the assistance Kadima gave Hamas and Hezbolla to strengthen their rule, Eilat is on the map.
3. :) I tooooooooooooooooold YOOOOOOOOU
ghostq   (08.04.10)

ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU   (08.04.10)
WE KNOW THAT HOW THEY SELL HUMANITY WE KNOW THAT HOW THEY SELL ITSELF WE KNOW THAT HOW THEY SELL THEIR BROTHERS WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE SHAME FOR ISLAM WORLD. of course Gazans will throw those rockets. GAZANS ARE COOL BRAVE PEOPLE.
5. Palestinians keep on provoking
CJ   (08.04.10)
Ruthless countries that, unlike soft Israel, will hit them hard. Not long ago they sniped an Egyptian guard near the Egyptian border. Palestinians are playing with fire. They know fully well that breaking the Israeli sovereignty is "legitimate", since it is met with silk gloves, but keep on doing this to your brothers in Egypt and Jordan and face the bloody consequences.
6. To Salma #1
A ,   Belgium   (08.04.10)
Sure, HA now. Pretty soon not only will the Israelis be pissed at you, but also the Jordanians and Egyptians. Will you still laugh when hamastan is bombed flat?
7. Standard Palestinian war crimes
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (08.04.10)
Remember, of course, that Hamas uses war crimes as their official government policy. "Whether or not attacks actually result in civilian casualties, they are in violation of international law, which also prohibits attacks aimed at spreading terror among the civilian population. The patterns of attacks and statements by members and leaders of Palestinian groups also indicate that they have no qualms about launching attacks against civilians and that they in fact carry out such attacks intending to kill and injure Israeli civilians. Such attacks constitute war crimes." Amnesty International report July 2, 2009
8. It's Hezbollah, not Hamas
Zvi   (08.04.10)
Hezbollah is making every effort to stir up trouble right now. They're scared.
9. Re #4
Andrew Brehm   (08.04.10)
Is that what counts for bravery among your people? Firing rockets at civilian targets? No wonder nobody respects the Muslim world these days.
10. Telling rejoycing of arab and turkish talkbacker
Mark ,   Maale Adumim, Israel   (08.04.10)
After all, a Jordanian was killed. For what purpose?
11. Will Egypt Retaliate? Will Jordan?
emanon ,   USA   (08.04.10)
12. Why would Palestinians fire at Aqaba?
Cynic #2   (08.04.10)
I can understand it if it were Al-Qaida or some other fundamentalist Islamic organization, but Palestinians from Gaza? And the rockets that fell on Eilat hit a salt water pond far away from the city but fell in the middle of Aqaba killing one Jordanian? Me think it is a pretext for another war on Gaza.
13. Muslim violence to increase
M Carr ,   Baltimore   (08.04.10)
Although Israel refrains from declaring victories, I, unilaterally, congratulate her for the defeat of the flotilla movement. The Muslim world entrusted their hopes that the flotillas would bring humiliation to Israel. But that would not be the outcome. Instead, it was the Muslims and their leftist allies that were humiliated before the eyes of the world as ship after ship failed to dock at Gaza. With each failure Muslim anger grew and world support dwindled as more and more people realized it was all a PR stunt. As I expected the Muslims have chosen to vent their rage by attacking in all directions but primarily at Israel. When Turkey gets her feathers singed by the UN probe they demanded, expect the violence to worsen
14. #4 A BETTER REASON FOR EGYPT TO PANIC
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne,   (08.04.10)
The Egyptian government has an absolute responsibility to prevent terrorism on Israel from its territory and bring terrorists to justice. This is written into the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty and is guaranteed to Israel by the USA that has bound itself to bring Egypt to compliance by any means. The Egyptian government has the US administration breathing down its back. What I'd like to know is when are the Egyptian and US governments going to live up to their responsibilities to Israel or don't treaties mean anything? THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
15. Someone is lying,,,,,,,
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (08.04.10)
16. Hey #12 Cynic: A Grad or Katyusha rocket is not
Nick ,   Sweden   (08.04.10)
a rifle. You don't aim it and hit your target at will. It's the crudest of all rocket weapons, used in clusters for carpet bombings of large areas - even when shot from original military launchers. Launched from home made tripods it will land just about anywhere.
17. Be careful Salma
Omri ,   Israel   (08.04.10)
You're fellow egyptions and jordanians dont have the same moral values as the IDF and fullscale carpet bombing may and will be used by them. Actualy this kind of terrorism acts on egypt and joran only unit them with israel to fight terrorism in the rigion more efficiantly.
18. Just yesterday
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.04.10)
Egypt claimed that it wasn't from their territory. Now they change their tune. Egypt is responsible for any and all actions coming from their territory.
19. #12: perfect example of denial
Susan ,   DC, USA   (08.04.10)
The useful idiots of the world will twist themselves into all sorts of convoluted knots to avoid realizing that they are backing terrorists. How, I wonder, will they react when Egypt &other Arab nations react to these terrorists the way Israel SHOULD be allowed to but isn't? Nary a peep, I'm sure - except to desperately try to still pin it on Israel.
20. #12 - so you're saying Mossad went to Sinai..
William ,   Israel   (08.04.10)
and fired rockets which they don't possess at their own city? Wow, you are lost in an alternate reality of conspiracy and hate. Or as we like to call it "Islam"
21. #16 - but the intent was to target Israeli civilians
William ,   Israel   (08.04.10)
whether the rockets killed someone or just landed in the sea, the intent was a flat out war crime and human rights violation against Israel...again.
22. Freedom Flottilla
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (08.04.10)
Wil Turkey send a freedom flottilla to Aqaba in support of Jordanian terror victims ?
23. Way too much credit
USA   (08.04.10)
Come on guys face it, this attack was obviously an attempt on Israel and Israel alone. The fact that the rockets fell into the sea and hit Jordan are only a testament at how stupid these extremist terrorist really are.
