Settlers are one thing, Israel's presence (including military presence) is another. I agree with the article, Israel should end the settlement enterprise and compensate settlers who are removed (though I think that as a matter of realism, it'd be hard to disengage from big settlements such as Modi'in Illit). But, the IDF should stay there because the Palestinians can't guarantee security as Gaza has showed us.

The borders should be based on ethnical lines, while Jerusalem have to be kept under Israeli control (or negotiation on its status should be delayed for 30 years-keeping Jlem under de facto Israeli control) under any cost. Large Muslim ihhabited areas like Wadi Ara with Um el Fahem,Taibe,Jat,Baqa al Gabriyah should be transferred to the Arabs while Samarian settlement blocks, Ariel,Maccabim-Reut,Greater Jerusalem area with Maaleh Adumim and Givat Zeev as well as Gush Etzion block and southern Judean communities must be kept in Israel. With this solution Israel will keep 90% of Israelis with just 8% Of Judea and Samaria while over 300 000 Israeli Arabs will realize their dreams to become part of an Arab Islamic state
