The IDF soldiers can be questioned behind a black screen and use code names to keep id a secret if needed. If their ids are kept secret then why not allow soldiers to be questioned? Unless there is another reason for them not to be questioned.

Israel can refuse to provide eyewitness testimony to counter the other side's eyewitnesses. Then it will be a matter for the panel to judge the credibility of those who were there against a bunch of self-serving politicians who were absent. There is also unedited video available that the IDF didn't confiscate. Israel can try and rig the UN Panel, but it won't be easy.

If Israel only wants the panel to hear the Turkish eyewitness testimony, that should be Israel's calculated decision. The panel just can then make its own judgment on what it does see and hear. That will be an Israeli decision.
