1. Give him freedom and a medal for helping kill a killer.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (08.10.10)
2. Russian spy in Cyprus had fake UK passport
William ,   Israel   (08.10.10)
but hardly a word of condemnation from PM Cameron. A clear case of discrimination.
3. Would the CIA be put on trial?
Jethro ,   Marquette, MI   (08.10.10)
Is it a crime to help kill a murderer? If it is true that he actually is guilty for forging a passport then that is what he should be charged for, however how often does the CIA do this? Are they getting put on any trials? The world needs to open their eyes. We will see if justice prevails.
4. Let him pay a fine and send him home.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (08.10.10)
None of us knows if he had anything to do with the al-Mabhouh hit. But we all should be happy *someone* took him out. And before someone starts moaning about compromising those passports, first recognize that all intelligence agencies do it. We see, too, the hypocrisy when the UK says not a word about Russia's use of UK passports in the recent US spy affair, only weeks after expelling an Israeli official over the matter.
5. Restitution and penitence for the past?
Mrs W ,   London UK   (08.10.10)
After the way Germany betrayed Israel in the past, we are astounded they were even remotely willing to let down another Jew in the Name of political stupidity.
6. From a Moral standpoint
Marl from Georgia ,   USA   (08.10.10)
To kill a smuggler, murderer and an architect of multiple murders. From a moral standpoint, doesn't it just seem like Karma, what goes around comes around. So really, except for cold blooded murderers, for people who justify the targeting and murder of civilians, who really cares, justice was served after all.
7. The Headline Should Say
Brazen   (08.10.10)
Israeli spy escapes from polish law enforcement . But he's Mossad and vanished into thin air ?
8. #7 What are you talking about?
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (08.11.10)
First, Brodsky is not a "spy", since he never engaged in any secret gathering of sensitive information in favor of Israel. At most, he helped counterfeit a passport, which was used for a very good purpose, I must say (and wouldn't you agree too?) Second, how did Brodsky "escape" from Polish law enforcement? Everyone agrees he hasn't committed any crime against Poland, so the Polish law enforcement have nothing on him, except for travelling under a fake passport - which warrants deportation, not arrest. And in fact, Brodsky did the absolute opposite of "escaping" from Poland - he actually appealed to stay there, instead of being extradited to Germany. So in summary, in your attempt to badmouth Israel and the Mossad, you only ridicule yourself, as you clearly have no clue as to what you are talking about.
9. This becomes a test for Germany...
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (08.11.10)
