1. Iranian Treatment of Women
Ban Ki Moon ,   United Nations   (08.11.10)
i know the case very well which is why i am appointing the peaceful country of Iran to the Commission on the Status of Women. In fact, i am so impressed by the way Iran treats its women that i am going to make it a 4 year seat.
2. Wow ;) ,...
split ,   usa   (08.11.10)
Those ugly Ayatollahs didn't send a "crew" after him to take care of his activities just the way another regime took care of their enemy ? Maybe they don't know how to get a foreign passport ?
3. hmmmmmmm !!!
(08.11.10)
So if Iranian loyer can save 50 people from certain death through court hearings that means the country is ruled by proper law !
4. so what does this mean ??
(08.11.10)
this means the courts of law in Iran are more credible than the Israeli courts when they rule for the demolition of Palestinian houses .
5. I Would Hope They Are Appointed
Soupy Sales   (08.11.10)
to be in charge of Religious Diversity the iranian way.
6. #1, #4
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (08.12.10)
Killing people who are not harming anyone, trying to jail [and probably kill] an attorney who is trying to save lives, is not the same as killing a confessed terrorist and murderer and demolishing homes (as bad as the second case may be). Your blind prejudices show through your knee-jerk reactions and ridiculous comparisons. The article contains more about a warped judicial system than a fair one.
7. #3 hmmmmmm!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (08.12.10)
Nice name by the way! So it's ok to be falsely convicted and stay behind bars and get torture for years until they reduce the sentence to life imprisonment based on verbal accusations? What are you 2 years old?
8. #3 - did you bother to read the whole article?
Zvi   (08.12.10)
It sure does not look that way.
9. #4 you mean the Israeli courts that regularly rule against
Zvi   (08.12.10)
the government? Dream on, Mr. Anonymous Ignorance.
10. TO nameless coward #3,#4
Yaakov ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.12.10)
The courts are prejudiced against the Jews in the Jewish homeland. They end up enforcing the destruction of more illegal Jewish housing per conviction than they do illegal Arab housing by Arab settlers. So what is your problem? You just support the illegal Arab land stealing/squatting AND the illegal building of houses. As far as the illegal building..you don't think that it is safer to build according to safety code? You prefer anarchy to order.
11. Righteous Iranian courts?
Yaakov ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.12.10)
Especially to the bone-head anonymous cowrd of numbers 3 and 4. If the Iranian courts are so just then why did the lawyer have to flee his country? Also , he only suceeded in staying the execution of 50 people where each years hundreds are executed.
12. split you are spread
roli ,   miami beach, USA   (08.12.10)
a "crew" in quotations? From another regime to go after a local peaceful activist after he has fled to another country... using fake passports. I bet you mean Cuba, if you are using your intelligence. What does that have to do with the IRG torturing women and senior citizens in Tehran?
13. I quote the learned attorney
Sagi   (08.12.10)
"The world should stand up to this". No Sir, the Iranian people should stand up to this, all 70 million of them, against a bunch of despotic mad "God" incensed Mullahs who see the word death in every sentence they utter. Get organized. Three days is enough. It has been done before and it will be done again. "God" is a strong weapon to have on your side but freedom is stronger by a hundredfold. Go for it and do not rely on others.
14. Human rights attorney
nance ,   Veldhoven   (08.12.10)
Why is it that this Iranian does not flee to a country in the region? No, he coincidentally chooses a country with one of the best social care systems in the wolrd, but I guess that is a coincidence
15. # 12 - Nope !
split ,   usa   (08.12.10)
I was talking about "demolition crew" sent by Israel to Dubai - I remember few other cases that they screwed up and killed an innocent strangers.
16. #14 Fleeing, #15 Innocent
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (08.12.10)
Read the article. #14: Other countries in the region are as "fair and democratic" as Iran. He first escaped to Turkey but was afraid Turkey would send him back. (They are also as "fair and democratic" as Iran.) #15; Sources please, saying Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was an 'innocent stranger'. Even Hamas confirmed he was one of their top commanders. It says a lot when you have to resort to making things up.

Read carefully what I have said in both posts ,... To anver you anyway - If you have a beef with someone in thirth country ask the goverment for extradition, that's the civilised way to to take care of the business not a kidnapping or an assasination. In Norway and Poland you screwed up and killed 2 innocent man.
18. PS 16 Call yourself democracy ?
split ,   usa   (08.12.10)
Than what about the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in the court of law ?
19. Split
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (08.12.10)
Asking your enemy, with whom there are no diplomatic connections, to extradite someone they will protect is nonsensical. As is presuming one is innocent even when the person is a known member of a terrorist/ murder organization: known that is by most of the world's counter-terrorist agencies.
20. 19 Asking your enemy,...
split ,   usa   (08.13.10)
Learn to live in peace with your neighbors and stop crying that everyone hates you ,...
21. Living in peace.
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (08.13.10)
The problem is that the Arabs don't accept the concept of Israel nor any other non Muslim state in that area. Even Israel, the size of New Jersey. It is Hamas and Hezbollah that has a lot to learn about living in peace.
