1. HOLD THE PHONE! WHAT?! TURKEY?!
CJ   (08.12.10)
T-H-E Turkey? The same Turkey with the "peace" flotilla and the "peace" activists? The same Turkey with Erdogan who said "Thou shalt not kill"? The same Turkey that preaches against war crimes? There must be a mistake here!
2. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.12.10)
Oh, no mistake! It's the same Turkey that talks out of its rear orifice on any given occasion. The same phony Turks that pretend to be peace-lovers and generous supporters of humanitarian ideals, all the while using vile chemical weapons against innocent Kurds. Where's Judge Goldstone? Where is the United Nations? Where is Amnesty International? Oh .... I understand. It doesn't involve Israel, so no one's interested. Too bad for the world. Especially for that aspect of the world which is Kurdish ...... and subject to Turkish war crimes. Pathetic.
3. Stupid leader Erdogan, was concerned about phosphorus
Levente,Hungary   (08.12.10)
So far i had met only nice, humble Turkish people, however their stupid government that cant calculate 1 step ahead, will make the whole country pay the price.... for generations to come.....
4. Does Napalm or flamethrowers count as chemical weapons?
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (08.12.10)
Most weapons have a chemical part, like guns or explosives but others are more direct like Napalm or flamethrowers, also how would fuel air bombs be classified. I thought gases were the main banned chemical weapons but possible acids too.
5. Turkey
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (08.12.10)
Kick the Turkeys out of NATO and stop the EU membership process! NOW!!!
6. JEWISH JUDGE GOLDSTONE MUST INVESTIGATE RIGHT AWAY!
ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU   (08.12.10)
7. throw them out of NATO & put Erdogan on trial for war crimes
zionist forever   (08.12.10)
Throw this country out of NATO the EU needs to tell Turkey straight out you will not be given membership under any circumstances not now and not ever. If this had been Israel the world would be condemning Israel, there would be sanctions, its leaders would be put on trial for war crimes and just about everything else. Turkey has been suspected of using chemical weapons before so the worlds politicians all know its going on they are not fools. The reaction to this is David Cameron is pushing the EU to admit Turkey. Israel more than any other country should come out and condemn the use of chemical weapons. Israel has a duty to condemn the use of chemical weapons and this condemnation will also be appreciated by the Kurds increasing the chances of Israel making peace with them.
8. its funny because
Omri ,   Israel   (08.12.10)
Turkey seems to be guilty of the same acusations she points at Israel. The turkish ways of dealing with the terrorists is just so uch easier when its always away from the 1st page on the papers. Maybe change that 1st page from the topic of gaza to the topic of kurdistan?
9. ***Sarah***
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (08.12.10)
I totally love the way you care so much for the Kurds but not the Palestinians... Sarah you are a strong woman who uses strong words you remind me so much of my mother... ♥
10. Well Well Well...
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (08.12.10)
The same Turkey who constantly preaches to Israel about human rights violations, sieges, murder ("Thou shalt not kill!") and war crimes, and demonizes and lambasts it on every occasion - turns out to be quite a naughty bandit in itself... What's that? Severely disfigured bodies burned by chemical weapons, courtesy of the Peace Flotilla patron? Oh golly gee, what a surprise. Wonder where the CNN, BBC, The Guardian, The Independent, The Economist, Le Monde, El-Pais, Al-Jazeera, the Arab MKs, the demonstrators in Arab countries, and of course Mr. Erdogan - all of whom sprung up like firecrackers on ecstasy during the flotilla aftermath - are all hiding now?
11. Armenians
Gan-Chan ,   Berlin   (08.12.10)
The same Turkey, which killed 1.5 million Armenians ... The world must stop this regime once and for all!
12. @ 7 no that was david cameron last week and not reaction to
Also a Zionist ,   Tel Aviv   (08.12.10)

Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (08.12.10)
The Turks have joined ranks with Saddam Hussein in the past and are now his heirs...
14. My Tex-Mex Burrito tells me that WW2 weapons are used
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (08.12.10)
When I roll my Burrito into powerful binoculars I can have 100/100 vision straight into the Middle East minds and hearts of all Tyrants and Islamists to find any possible excuse for their criminal activities and genocides they perform on a daily basis. This is how I know that Napalm and flame throwers can be used with no problem there. I always tell what I see. BLOODYTHIRSTY SCOT GREATEST EXPERT OF TEX-MEX BURRITOS AND MIDDLE EAST DALLAS, TEXAS
15. how about 1 million and half ARMENIANS which were murdered

Does anyone ever questioned that what is happening to kurds in Turkey ? does anyone ever knows how many kurds has been killed by the fascist Turks ? thouasands of kurds were executed and killed by the Turkish Army yet noone has ever criticized Turkey over this cruel crime ???? yes how could turks ever question Israel and accuse Israelies over self defence actions when thier hands are involved in many crimes and still bleeding from the ARMENIAN & TURKS Blood???? where is UN & US & all other peacfull blood sucking countries to question this fact ?????????? 16. What a bunch of Turkeys :^P
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.12.10)
17. Will the UN try Erdogan for war crimes?
Mike ,   Oxford UK   (08.12.10)
No... of course not... the UN is quiet. The moslem/non-aligned majority in the UN will see that only Israel is ever singled out for criticism in the UN
18. No legitimacy to Erdogan government
E1   (08.12.10)
The Turkish people have to choice between Ataturk and Erdogan-IHH-Ahamedinidzan. Erdogan will act violently using IHH against the oposition.
19. #10 don't worry
Lisa   (08.12.10)
Ynet is not the only paper reporting this, certainly not the first, - it is all over the news- and this is BAD news for Turkey and Erdogan.
20. Sarah a question for you
Eli ,   Ashkelon   (08.12.10)
You say the Kurds are “innocent” when in fact the Kurds have launched a number of suicide attacks against Turks much like the way Palestinians did against the Israelis. The Kurds (PKK) have stated quite clearly that every Turk including civilians are legitimate targets in much the same way that the Palestinians are willing to target Israeli civilians. The Kurds also torture and kill those they accuse of being informers or collaborators, again just like the Palestinians. Both Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have strongly condemned the Kurds for human right abuses over the years. So Sarah my question is why do you consider the Kurds “innocent” when they have acted in the same fashion as the Palestinians who you clearly hate?
21. To: Chris at No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.12.10)
Well, that's an easy one to answer, Chris. The Kurds have never hijacked airplanes, blown up buses and restaurants, stabbed people waiting for a bus or kidnapped Israeli soldiers. The Palestinians have done all of the above, and have brought terror to Jews and Israelis -- and non-Jews and non-Israelis alike -- for over sixty years. Terror, I might add, on a previously unimagined scale. Whatever organizational charters and founding documents the Kurds have, none of them call for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jews. In fact, as nearly as I have been able to determine, all the Kurdish people want is their own little plot of land. The Palestinians have on three discrete occasions rejected their own state -- including one offer which would have given them 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. It's a little difficult to believe -- given Palestinian actions over the past sixty-odd years -- that they want to share land that isn't theirs to begin with! They are allowed to live there because of Israeli and Jewish generosity. You'd think they'd have figured it out by now, but no .... they have not. That is why they will end up with nothing; and it is because of their violence, belligerence and terrorism which is the reason that I do not consider them in the same class as I do the Kurdish people. Trust this has been responsive to your rather puzzling comment.
22. Probe?
Matthias ,   Munich, Germany   (08.13.10)
As we know, Erdogan loves UN probes. Lets set up one for the turkish war crimes!
23. HOLLOW INDIGNATION A DIVERSION
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.13.10)
Like Nasrallah and his accusations against Israel for the murder he planned and committed of Hariri...his political enemy... to shift blame, we can now add Turkey to the list. So Turkey feigns disgust directed at Israel, for Israel's defensive raid on the flotilla, while hiding the IHH (so called "peace activists") and its ties to Hamas, Now we add to that, the diversion of Turkish "war crimes" that far exceed the Turkish acusation made against Israel, To quote the article: " the horrifying images show burned, maimed and scorched body parts" from the illegal weapons used by the Turks against the Kurds. Now these are the guys who say: 1) Israel cannot be trusted to conduct an impartial investigation. and, 2) that the Turks Can be trusted to conduct an impartial investigation. This just keeps getting better and better.1) Iran is trying to divert world attention from its nuke program. 2) Nasrallah is trying to divert attention from the Hariri murder he planned. 3) Turkey is trying to divert attention from Illegal chemical weapons it used on its own Kurdish population. And who is the UN investigating, Israel? The only innocent country of the bunch! For what? The flotilla, where overwhelming video evidence completely exonerates Israel. As somebody once brought up, it's like a Superman Bizzaro comic, where everything is reversed. All the criminals are calling for investigations, of the innocent, Israel.
24. Turkey under Erdogan is a rouge state
john   (08.13.10)
I hope the Turkish people for their sake watch and learn to where Erdogan and his government leading them .
25. Flotilla in an exchange for Turkish chemical weapon usage
Hiwa   (08.13.10)
I want to ask Israeli officials to accept the cooperation in flotilla case in an exchange for Turkish cooperation in their chemical weapons usage scandal. Israelis will not lose anything (everybody knows Israeli soldiers were defending themselves) but Turks will lose a lot. Kurds know for decades that Kurdistan’s occupiers have been using chemical weapons against them. The only problem has been and probably will be that nobody lessens to them. With all due respect to Americans (who have liberated a fraction of Kurdish people), today one of the main news on CNN was “flies in a German city”.
26. The Turkey is Done!
iObserver and News ,   US-Israel   (08.13.10)
Turkey will be completely finished if this is found to be true. No one will have any doubts about the dispicable truth concerning the Turkeys and their intentions. NATO will Have no choice but to ban them and monitor them as a vile enemy. If turkey continues aiding enemies of Israel, they'll have to deal directly with the US. I wouldt doubt the accusations: this should put a halt to the "flotilla farce inquiry" for sure. Let's see if the ignoramous Ban will take any action. If not, just another reason to bate the UN even more. Turkeys day will arrive. The new axis of baboons: Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Turkey & the Pali groups must be destroyed completely and with finility.
27. Turkey has been involved in international criminal ...
Jehudah   (08.13.10)
... activities, not the kind of country that will be a candidate for membership in the EU, and not the kind of country that is likely to continue to be part of NATO. After the Turks answer to the international community about their use of chemical weapons, they should tell us about the invasion of Cyprus and the expelling its people. They should account for the on-going mass murder of Kurds. And above all, they should apologize for the genocide they inflicted upon the Armenian people; 1.5 million men, women and children lost their lives at the hands of the Turks!!!
28. Turkey's Use Of Chemical Weapons
Simcha ,   So.Cal.USA   (08.13.10)
I don't think the EU would have them anyway. They should be ostricized by all countries for their un-forgivable attrocities toward the Kurds. Erdagon should be tried for war crimes in the Hague and we all better remember what this country is capable of as they insert their influence onto the Iranian/Lebonese/Syrian stage.
29. Sarah B. I'm glad you're keeping...
Persian CAT   (08.13.10)
your face as that to Turkey's "rear orifice" that you can tell what comes out. But then you have proven you can't tell head from tail of anything, sistah.
30. Progaganda to get back at Turkey, Why used them better ways
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (08.13.10)
The PR machine seem to be at work here. Turkey maybe guilty of many things but using chemical weapons unlikely since they have far better weapons from NATO if needed.
