Assuming Bushehr goes live and our government continues to sit on it's brains, my understanding is that B will produce enriched Uranium to 3.5% . For nukes you need at least 90% enriched presumably Bshr seems to be a source and Natanz the enrichment key

Since Iran, being a main supplier of oil to China, gives China an economic way to quickly ruin Iran. Iran is reported to have 2 Soviet made nukes from black market and possible a few N. Korea made, plus they have enough uranium for 2 or 3 nukes also that we know of. Not enough to be a major threat but still very worrying.

Natanz is strictly and specifically an enrichment facility. It is Natanz that creates the danger of an atomic bomb, not Busehr. The stated intention at Natanz is to produce 3.5% LEU to power Busehr. The enrichment process at Natanz is currently running significantly under capacity. An atomic bomb requires ~50kg of +85% HEU, a few months of construction, and zero testing. Much of the building of the weapon can be done concurrently with enrichment. Currently, Iran can easily construct an atomic bomb and the entire process can be done with very low probability of detection. They only need the HEU, which they could have in less than 6 weeks, with their current stock and centrifuges. Much of the construction can be done concurrently. As it stands today, Iran is 2 months away from a 15kt device, and they have enough for two of them. A nuclear power plant is not used to produce an -atomic- bomb, because it produces plutonium, which is used for -hydrogen- bombs. Spent nuclear fuel has -less- uranium than what went in. That is why there is a fuel/waste cycle. A Hydrogen bomb (Plutonium) is an entirely different animal than an Atom bomb (Uranium). A Hydrogen bomb will take them -years- to put together, and it will take extensive testing, and most almost certainly be detected long before they cross the threshold. The bottom line: It is quite unlikely they will have a hydrogen bomb before 2020, but they could have an atomic bomb before Sukkot, this year. That is probably not going to happen, but they almost certainly will have one before 2015.

Israel better bomb Iran's nuclear reactor at Bushehr before the Russians load it with atomic fuel. I'm sure everyone remembers the result of that event. Natanz produces enriched uranium. Bushehr uses low enriched uranium but automatically turns that INTO plutonium as a biproduct. But plutonium doesn't need to be enriched. The plutonium needed for an atom bomb also weighs less and has smaller volume than the highly enriched uranium needed for an atom bomb. Therefore, plutonium is preferred over uranium for atom bombs put into missiles, and Iran has lots of missiles that can reach Israel. Don't believe what Iran says. The cut off date is August 21 when the nuclear fuel goes in. Begin was careful to bomb the Iraqi nuclear plant BEFORE nuclear fuel was loaded, to avoid spread of radiation. I think, that Israel can take out Busher as a first step in the process of the elimination of the whole of Irans nuke program. I believe, that the mullahs will be very very reluctant, to cross the treshold to a full blown military conflict with Israel, they know exactly, that America will be drawn in, and that this would be the end of their dirty games...
