Instead of recruiting Christians to defend Israel (which is like the Chinese hiring Tibetans to defend China’s human rights record ) would it not be easier just to take away the reason why most people dislike Israel? You know by stopping the war crimes & stopping the 60 years of occupation and tyranny over the Palestinians?

The world needs to understand the war crimes that have been committed against Israel since and even before the re-establishment of the Nation of Israel in 1948. #5 Darling, I think it is about time that you should start studying a bit of history of this area, by your comments the Palestinian are in such a sorry state because of Israel. They have only themselves to blame for the situation that they are in, there hate of Israel overpowers all reasonable thinking that is why they are still living in refugee camps after all these years with the help of the United Nations of course. Instead of hating us and terrorising our little country they could of had a prosperous and peaceful country ages ago but of course the arab states are not interested in this, they are by the way one of the main reasons that the Pales are in the state they got themselves into. Re "60 years of occupation": As you say 60 years, you obviously don't talk about West Bank and Gaza, but about Israel itself (with Tel-Aviv, Haifa, etc.) ... So it seems that you ask the State of Israel to cease its existence... you want the Jews to improve their image and stop the conflict by leaving the Middle East? That doesn't sound like support for a peaceful co-existence.

I've never quite understood why somebody being Jewish, translates to, somehow that person cannot be objective. But I've noticed,especially with the anti-Israel writers, they accept information from Arab/Muslim sources without question. Yet when the source is Jewish they say the information is tainted. Now the Arab/Muslim sources have been caught dozens, if not hundreds of times lying. While Israeli/Jewish source have never been caught lying. Yet they question the source that has never been caught lying, and accept the source they repeatedly gets caught lying. They Lie so often a new word was invented to describe it "Pallywood".

No, I'm not kidding. You'd be surprised how many of us there are. In fact, I have a whole family full of them. Not only that, but one of the most dedicated Zionists I've ever known was a an American Irish Catholic (albeit a lapsed one) who plunged headlong into the history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict after 9/11...even going so far as to read the Koran, because he realized that the murderous attack on America was what Israel had been enduring for years. And that's probably the strongest argument in favor of supporting Israel because we have a common enemy that stones women, lynches homosexuals and turns children into human bombs. The argument as to whose side God is on probably isn't going to cut it on college campuses these days.

60 years of occupation? 1. a bit of history - not occupied , but disputed and historically (if you know anything about history) the Jewish claim is a prior and superior claim. 2. How did we aquire additional lands to which Jewish history is attached - by wars forced upon us by those whose intents were to put it politely murderous. 3. War crimes? try sucide bombimg and rocketing civilian targets - those are war crimes. Try hiding your wepons and firing them from in the midst of civilians - those are war crimes. And Tryanny?
