What i don't understand is that Dictatorship like N.Korea & Pakistan (Pakistan only recently returned to democracy) have been allowed to illegally acquire Nuclear weapons, and no one (US, Israel, UK, EU, or any other nations) threatened them with military strikes... Where as when Iran which is more democratic than both North Korea & Pakistan, properly applied to the UN atomic agency for a peaceful nuclear power plant, and submitted itself to their Inspection and scrutiny, everybody started shouting: "Attack them". Here in the U.S. we laughed as his cowardice, after all his big talk, after telling us how tough he was, he ended up in a rat-hole Iran is no different, after all, in eight years of fighting Iraq ("a small army" to quote Ahmadinejad) , Iran could never win the war, and barely fought to a stalemate. Iran has always been attacking Israel by having their tentacles-Hamas and Hezbollah shoot thousands of rockets at Israel. While the world is sleeping, Iran has been acquiring huge missiles, developing rocket drone bombs, building their own warships, building their own jet fighters and now feverishly working on their nukes. The same Iraqi army that was an even match for his vaunted Iranian military back in the 80's is the one that crumbled like an eggshell against American forces in 2003. Ahmadinejad forgets that guerrilla warfare is not the same as conventional warfare. The US could invade Iran, ruin its day and withdraw. If they don't try to engage in silly "nation building" like in Iraq, the entire operation would take several months tops, and would leave Iran and it's military in shambles.
